Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 1 is titled “Conspiracy,” and starts with nostalgia from the original Dragon Ball series, but also with fresh energy.
The first episode sees Goku, Vegeta, and their friends suddenly turned into children by the Demon Realm’s Majin villains – Degesu, Gomah, and Dr. Arinsu.
These villains aim to understand the Z Fighters’ past battles, focusing heavily on the Buu Saga (pre-Super) to form a strategy to defeat them. This is a clever way to recap the past events without spoiling the storyline.
Much of the episode occurs in the Demon Realm, a rarely explored area of the Dragon Ball universe. The new setting offers a fresh space in the Dragon Ball universe for new adventures. These Majin villains are sinister but bring a humorous dynamic like the Pilaf Gang from the original Dragon Ball.
We can see this as a true blue attempt to get the show back to what it was, just about the tales of a little boy and his powerful stick traveling around, making memories.

What will happen in Dragon Ball DAIMA episode 2?
In Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 2, fans can expect the story to start after the surprise attack on the Lookout. With Goku and his friends shrunk (chibi’d), they’ll need to quickly adjust to their new, smaller forms while trying to defend Earth.
The Majin villains, Degesu and Gomah, will likely continue their plan for invasion and attempt to further their plans to retrieve the powerful relic, the Tertian Oculus.
The Z Fighters will face unique challenges as they fight back, learning to harness their powers again (The exact extent is unknown now).
In the second episode, we will likely learn more about the Demon Realm and its connection to the Namekians. Degesu’s surprise attack will likely lead to discoveries and surprises about Dende’s role and the secret powers of the Namekians.

‘Dragon Ball Daima’ is the fifth anime installment in the Dragon Ball franchise. The series was announced during the Dragon Ball Special Panel at New York Comic Con 2023, and it is set to air in fall 2024.
The story and settings, as well as many of the designs, are handled by Akira Toriyama, the original creator of the Dragon Ball series. The title “Daima” is a made-up term, which would translate to “Evil” in English. However, the kanji used for Daima means “great” and “demon/magic.”
In this series, due to a conspiracy, Goku and his friends are turned small, and they head off to a new world. It’s a grand adventure with intense action in an unknown and mysterious world.
