2. Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 12 Recap
Episode 12 of Dragon Ball DAIMA has proven to be quite the action-packed episode in the series. The episode started out with Vegeta jumping out of the Kraken’s mouth when it tried to eat Goku, who was trying to check if Vegeta was alright. Vegeta explained that he simply wasn’t used to a tiny body, which was why he got eaten. Vegeta’s power then suddenly spiked, and he started overpowering the Tamagami in battle.
Seeing this, Neva used a spell to make the Tamagami stronger and said he did it as a favor to Vegeta, who seemed to want a good fight. This time, it seemed as if Vegeta was being given a hard time by the Tamagami. However, right when it seemed as if Vegeta had lost, he powered up yet again, with his entire body glowing even brighter. His hair seemed longer, too, and Goku was shocked at his growth. Vegeta easily managed to defeat the Tamagami after this.
After their match ended, Vegeta had to answer a silly riddle that the Tamagami asked, which he answered correctly. After attaining the dragon ball, everyone got in the spaceship again and resumed their journey. Meanwhile, we also got to see the battle between Majin Duu and Tamagami No.1. While the battle seemed to be going well for him initially, things took a sudden turn when Majin Duu suddenly stopped fighting and started throwing a tantrum for chocolates.
Luckily enough, Majin Duu’s dutiful elder brother, Majin Kuu, arranged a chocolate bar for Duu, which satisfied him enough to resume his fight against the Tamagami. Majin Duu’s attacks are quite interesting and resemble his personality in certain ways. His body is flexible and stretchy, so he can easily evade attacks and also give strong and effective counterattacks to his enemies. After eating his chocolate, Majin Duu was able to use magic, so he shot the Tamagami with an endless barrage of green spells, which made the Tamagami forfeit the match eventually.
After their match ended, the Tamagami asked Majin Duu a very complex arithmetic riddle, which even Dr. Arinsu couldn’t solve. Right when it seemed as if they would lose, Majin Kuu answered the question for Duu, and they successfully claimed the dragon ball. King Gomah was watching all this unfold, and he seemed extremely frustrated at the outcome of these events; all the dragon balls had been claimed, and even Arinsu seemed to be against him at this point.
3. What To Expect in Episode 12 of Dragon Ball DAIMA?
All the Tamagami have been defeated, and all three dragon balls from the demon world have been attained. While Goku possesses two of the dragon balls, one of them is with Arinsu. This points toward the undeniable fact that Goku is going to have to interact with Arinsu to reach a decision about how they’ll move forward.
Arinsu would either make a deal with Goku, saying she’d give them the third dragon ball if they helped her defeat King Gomah. It is not guaranteed that she would stick to such a promise. We can also expect a betrayal from Glorio at this point, as he could steal the dragon ball and give it to Arinsu. This is very likely as well since Arinsu could have her need granted if she had all three dragon balls, and this eliminates her need for Goku.
4. About Dragon Ball Daima
‘Dragon Ball Daima’ is the fifth anime installment in the Dragon Ball franchise. The series was announced during the Dragon Ball Special Panel at New York Comic Con 2023, and it is set to air in fall 2024.
The story and settings, as well as many of the designs, are handled by Akira Toriyama, the original creator of the Dragon Ball series. The title “Daima” is a made-up term, which would translate to “Evil” in English. However, the kanji used for Daima means “great” and “demon/magic.”
In this series, due to a conspiracy, Goku and his friends are turned small, and they head off to a new world. It’s a grand adventure with intense action in an unknown and mysterious world.
