Though the manga and its anime adaptation have made Senku and his friends one of the most endearing characters in anime, the series might be ending before much longer.

Riichiro Inagaki’s manga, Dr. Stone, will reportedly start the final arc in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #45 on October 11, 2021.

The arc will focus on the Kingdom of Science’s tryst with ‘Why-man’ and reveal the reason behind the petrification.

As for the final arc’s length, since most major arcs are up to 30 to 38 chapters long, Dr. Stone could have 7 to 9 months left in its publication.

The story will revolve around the rocket, which will require the entire world to come together to make it possible.

After its construction, Senku and his crew will embark on a voyage to the moon to face “Why-man,” but the biggest question here is, will they be able to return to earth?

Though there has been no official confirmation from Shonen Jump or the mangaka, the report is on par with the magazine’s historical records for other manga series.

Another source of validation is that Mr. Riichiro’s new manga series titled “Trillion Game” has entered publication. Since most authors focus on one series, we can expect Dr. Stone to end soon.
