Dr. Stone is an anime that would reinstate the child-like wonder you once had while studying all sorts of scientific phenomena. The show is filled with intriguing discoveries and inventions and might possibly make you realize how much of technology we’ve all taken for granted.
One day all of humanity is turned into stone statues. There’s no reason or explanation behind this occurrence, and for thousands of years, Earth remains without humans.
Nature reclaims the planet until one other day Senku Ishigami, a genius teenager, regains his former form, again, without any particular reason.
Now surrounded by a pre-historic world, Senku decides to science his way out by re-inventing electricity and other modern tools necessary for re-establishing the human race.
There are many battles between scientific Senku and people who aren’t interested in re-inventing the world and just want to live out their lives as primitive humans.
Dr. Stone has a huge cast, and each character is meaningful and memorable. It appealed to a massive population of Otakus and instantly found a spot in everyone’s top anime.
