Dr. Stone Season 3 Episode 9: Release Date, Speculations, Watch Online

Any plan of infiltration into the village will require the science lab and the group to retreat to the ship, to find some new visitors in episode 8 of Dr. Stone season 3 titled “Ace in the hole on the science vessel.”

While discussing a way to get into the village and find the weapon of petrification, Senku, and the group eventually decide to use Kohaku in the cuteness competition to find a way directly through to the interior ministry.

Returning to the ship where the lab is kept, they observe from afar as the higher-ups thoroughly inspect it. That is not all there was to find, as two new survivors manage to stay alive and move on the ship unknown to the enemy.

1. Episode 9 Speculation: 

With both Ginro and Suika alive on the ship, they have a chance to make away with the lab and get it to Senku since there is no way they can attack the island. However, since Ibara is exceptionally observant, it is also a risky tactic for them to make a move while he is still there.

They will likely have to play the waiting game and have Ibara leave the ship before Suika takes the lab out on the vehicle. Senku will likely not just remain watching and will have to help Suika through a distraction or some other way since she is, after all, just a kid.

3. Recap of Episode 8:

Senku’s group releases tear gas into the rioting group and quickly brings it down in less than a minute. Five years ago, Amaryllis was dragged by her friends for a boat ride into the ocean to explore and find what was on the other side, but they were followed by another boat while they tried to leave.

Moz and Kirisame ride the boat chasing them as they have a single task and throw out a stone emitting a large beam of light. All of her friends shield around Amaryllis, and the light stops right in front of her. She has witnessed the petrification right before her eyes, so she is vital to Senku’s team.

Even the information she just gave them has been more than enough for Senku to work with and start deducing the weaknesses of the petrification beam. The only way to get into the inner palace and find the weapon is through the cuteness selection. Amaryllis would need Kohaku to help and immediately start beautifying her.

The enemies have entirely taken over their boat, and as they watch from afar, they witness some of the higher-ups board it and look at everything closely. Seeing Ibara break Chrome’s statue triggers Kohaku, who charges in immediately and tries to get closer to the ship.

As she observes from nearby, Kirisame appears behind her without noticing and immediately attacks, seeing her reaction. Even Kohaku can’t keep up with her rapid attacks, and Gen finds an opportunity to try and switch the situation into a misunderstanding where Kohaku is just searching for her lover, who Senku pretends to be.

A few hours earlier, the attack on the ship finally begins to make sense, as Kirisame fits the perfect description of the attacker. We see a flashback to Ryusui’s mental gymnastics during the attack, where he quickly noted the trajectory of the beam and the time he had to react. Quickly deducing that there is no escape, he saves Suika instead.

Ginro also barely manages to evade the beam since he is underwater and walks onto the ship to find everyone turned to stone. He has no time to cry since people are boarding the boat and quickly ducks under a barrel. 

As he tries to call for help from the group on the island, Ibara almost discovers his hiding spot with his inhumane detective skills. Luckily, Suika manages to distract the entire group, take away their attention, and save his life. Observing it all from afar, Senku realizes they still have two survivors on the ship.
