Suika and the people back on the island begin trying to figure out who is behind the mysterious message that Senku received. However, they decide to leave it up to the Kingdom’s main generals and focus on their direct duties instead.

The group goes over a quick recap of the petrification incident, and Ryusui proposes an exciting theory that Why-Man has petrified himself alongside them, which would be the only explanation for how he managed to survive.

Creating a radar, they take it to the sea and use it like a SONAR to locate the source of the signal. Chrome also deduces that we can use the SONAR as a fish finder, an excellent local food source they can use on a long voyage.

They begin planning long-term about the ship and all the machinery they will need to fill it with. Chrome gets an idea of his own as he starts using the radar with the radio waves to scan through minerals and rocks to find magnetic minerals directly.

He catches a reading in a huge ravine and calls Senku and the others to the giant iron deposit in the cave, where they start a mine. This marks the rise of the Industrial Age. Using their transport vehicles, they begin on the Kingdom’s distribution network with some paved roads.

Progress has quickly begun speeding up with the discovery of oil since it provides a base foundation to create asphalt, which makes roads—using a boat to transport it across the water and use minecarts through the bumpy mountains to get to the village.
