Their mission is to seize the petrification beam device for themselves using the power of science. He quickly uses the tech from the speaker and some copper wires to make an earpiece that looks like a regular earring and can easily communicate during the infiltration.

They built a little 4WD motor car, dressed it up like a rat, and gave it to Kohaku for emergency communication. Neither of them knows how to write, so she draws a weird painting onto it, and the science team desperately tries to decipher it, and Gen is the perfect mentalist for this job.

Using the psychology of the villagers, they get closer to figuring out the meaning of the cryptic painting that spells out platinum. The Soyuz spacecraft lies in the middle of the tree and possibly contains the platinum they need for the revival fluid.
