Riichirou Inagaki and Boichi’s Dr. Stone is getting adapted into a second novel, which will begin shipping this year.
The announcement was made in a Japanese e-newspaper, which also revealed that the novel would revolve around Ukyo, Tsukasa, Ryusui, and Gen.
Dr. Stone has previously been adapted into a novel, titled “Dr. Stone Hosi no Yume, Chi no Uta” (“Dr. Stone Star’s Dream, Earth’s Song”), which began shipping in February 2019. The novel, written by Ichio Morimoto, consisted of two stories.
The first story follows Senku’s highschool life before the petrification of the human race, and the second story follows Chrome, Kohaku, and Sukia’s attempt to form a musical band.
Dr. Stone: Stone Wars!, the second season of the Dr. Stone anime was officially announced with a teaser trailer which surprised everyone and got them riled up for the new season. It is expected to premiere sometime in mid-2020.
