Dr. Stone manga received yet another time skip that ended with the satellite complete and ready to launch.
After three years worth of effort, Senku and the team were able to do test runs until they successfully sent a recon satellite into space.
After that came the more complex steps regarding the actual one-way rocket, which will be carrying Senku and the others to the moon. The biggest hurdle for the team to cross was locating Why-Man on the moon’s surface.
Without a doubt, Team Science managed to pull it off in no time.
Senku and his team have finally found Why-Man on the moon’s surface in Dr. Stone’s chapter 216.
With the help of their newly acquired space telescope and Kohaku’s extraordinary vision, the young scientists have Why-Man’s estimated location.
At first, Xeno was skeptical about Kohaku’s visual prowess but was soon convinced when she could locate an odd moving spot on the moon’s surface.
The object was confirmed to be Why-Man by Xeno, who says that it wasn’t anything natural.
In other news, the team was able to map out the New World’s globe as the geography of the land changed drastically over the years. This itself is great and immensely useful for these young scientists’ future endeavors.
Chapter 217 may feature the launch of the one-way rocket from Earth to the moon. But as we all know, Chrome and Suika have been working hard to build another rocket that will bring Senku and others back from the moon.
The question remains, will Suika and Chrome be able to do it without the knowledge of the modern world and rocket science?
Or will Senku and others petrify themselves until humankind evolves enough to produce round-trip rocketships?
The upcoming chapters will be crucial for the story as Dr. Stone manga has already entered its final arc. The confrontation with Why-Man is just a few chapters away on which the fate of humanity depends.
I am legit getting goosebumps just by thinking about the various possibilities, and I am sure all Dr. Stone fans are feeling the same, so why not discuss our fan theories in the comment section?
