4. Recap of Chapter 214
Chapter 213 continues with Medusa activating, and petrifying Yo and Gen. The science crew makes a run for it as Medusa’s petri-beam approaches them. Senku and Ryusui stop and face the incoming blast.
Stepping a bit back, Senku and Ryusui figure out the blast radius based on previous research. Understanding this, the science crew revived Yo and Gen, who were back without much harm. Senku then questions them both about the incident.
Gen explains how the events happened and is suspicious how no one was around to activate it by word or touch. Unsure the cause could’ve been the vacuum, the science crew think it must’ve been Why Man trying another attack.
Skeptical about the possibilities with the activation, Kohaku thinks it’s better to take the fight to Why Man quickly. Chrome then asks how they will know Why-Man’s exact location even though they understand Why Man is on the moon.
Senku, understanding the situation, is ready to experiment with Medusa to gain intel about Why Man. Meanwhile, Gen overhears Ukyo talking with Kaseki about the Medusa. Later, Gen suspiciously questions Yo if he meddled with Medusa, but Senku understands Gen’s motive.
Gen and Senku mention someone scheduled the petrification event. Given the circumstances, Senku decides to monitor the Medusa at all times under lockdown so no one can access it.
Gathering elements, Senku builds a TV camera so that they can monitor the Medusa safely. Later Senku reveals another reason for making the camera which is to locate Why-Man on the moon.
Senku explains that using the new camera, they’re going to build a satellite to get live feed to locate Why Man’s whereabouts.
