When everything seemed to be going smoothly, Senku and the team were greeted with another puzzling shock when two of their friends got mysteriously petrified in Dr. Stone’s latest chapter.
The Science Kingdom has been working harder than ever for months to acquire the resources needed to build a computer and a rocket. After traveling worldwide and reviving the necessary people, Senku had everything he needed to create a rocket to the moon.
Dr. Stone Chapter 213 was heading positively with everything going as planned, but it, unfortunately, ended in a tragedy. The last petrification device in their possession activated, petrifying two of the members of Team Science.
Senku had placed the last working Medusa device in a container to preserve it for their moon mission. Gen and Yo were discussing how the petrifying device works while leaving the room it was stored in.
Suddenly, they heard a familiar click, and before they could comprehend what had happened, Gen and Yo were petrified. Not just that, the panel shows that the impact blew Yo’s head off his body, and Gen is shown heavily injured too.
Moreover, right before this incident took place, Ukyo was seen suspiciously fidgeting around the Medusa device’s container. Many fans are not ready to accept that Ukyo might be behind it, but the evidence proves him guilty until the truth comes out.
As much as I love Ukyo, I can’t deny that he did look like he was up to no good this time. I hope it is cleared out soon because I am sure he has his reasons. Ukyo is not someone who’d do something like this on someone’s orders.
He probably did it for his own reasons, or someone is forcing him. Do you think he’s behind the untimely petrification? Or was it instigated by someone else?
I highly doubt that Yo can make it alive even after the revival fluid, though there is still hope for Gen. This does put a temporary stop on the rocket plans, but Team Science can surely figure it out and overcome this hurdle too.
Besides the petrification tragedy, the chapter was fairly wholesome, with Senku and Kaseki building a television. Sai added the codes for a primitive video game, which brought the Stone Age even more ahead of their time.
Fans even think that Why-Man is actually among the population on Earth and is probably someone close to Senku and the others. Do you think so too? Let us know your theories as well!
