The long and tenacious journey Senku and his crew took to gather resources and find answers to the mystery of petrification is coming to a close.
While we learned the cause of the stone age, the reason and motives of the mysterious antagonist ‘Why-man’ is still an enigma. In the latest chapter of Dr. Stone, Senku wraps up his city founding world tour with the final stop at Indonesia to establish the rubber city.
In addition to acquiring rubber from the lush jungles of the Indonesian archipelago, the voyagers also got their hands on rice plants. Rice has always been the cornerstone of iconic anime food, from rice balls (Onigiri) to sake and mochi. It is sure to be wonderful souvenirs for the Ishigami Village’s residents.
Just like how Senku won the heart of the villagers with foxtail ramen and inspired them to help him establish his kingdom of science. Classic Japanese rice food is sure to entice the newly revived people back in Japan to help build Senku’s spaceship.
And we can all agree that nothing beats anime/ manga food when it comes to enticing people to do your bidding.
As for the different cities, with the latest being Rubber, Senku and his crew have established five resource cities across different continents. Each one specializes in a particular resource that is essential for rocket building.
With just two days left for the voyagers to finish their lap around the world, Dr. Stone will be stepping into new territory as the race to the moon begins.
