Dr. Stone is not a typical shonen manga that just overflows with emotions now and then. Along with some crazy good science, it does have its wholesome moments as well.
We all know about Ryusui and Sai’s poor relationship and how the latter is scared of the former. The manga’s latest chapter really made a breakthrough in the brother’s bond and we’re here for it all.
Dr. Stone Chapter 207 was full of revelations and new inventions for the Stone Age. But it also had some brotherly bonding involved which made readers sob a little.
While the computer building activities kept me engaged, another thing that popped up in my mind is that now Sai and Ryusui can mend their broken relationship. But that was an epic fail as Sai doesn’t even want to be near Ryusui.
Gen stepped up to resolve this due to his curiosity about other people’s personal matters. As Sai told him how Ryusui is, Gen asked him a simple question that left the math prodigy to realize how misunderstood he has been.
Gen asked Sai if Ryusui ever ordered him to do things or simply asked his older brother to spend time with him.
Ryusui and Sai are not sons of the Nanami family’s matriarch, so they were always treated as non-family. While Sai used to get sad by this, Ryusui, on the other hand, was only concerned about his brother.
This evoked a feeling of doing stuff together in Ryusui, who always kept pestering Sai. That is until Sai misunderstood his actions and left for India to be away from his younger brother.
After Gen’s thoughts on the matter, Sai started to make an active effort to understand his brother better and play a game of chess with him.
Sai was so enlightened and guilty due to the past actions that he finally agreed to go with Senku, Ryusui, and the others on their quest. As it was mentioned earlier, Sai’s brainpower is needed wherever they land next.
Sai joining Senku and Ryusui in their pursuit will be beneficial for the Nanami brothers in a lot of ways. Not only will Ryusui be able to spend more time with his brother, but it will also help Sai in understanding his younger brother better.
With Why-man’s looming terror and space mission, the Nanami brothers working together will accelerate the moon mission as well. The story is getting more thrilling and I cannot wait to see what it has in store!
