In chapter 183, Senku and his friends went to the superalloy city of Araxa in search of diamonds to power up their medusa devices. On their way, Xeno somehow managed to send a warning signal to Stanley.

Chapter 184 will take us to the final science war between Senku and Stanley. We may get to see a predictable betrayal from Xeno, which will possibly lead Senku and his team into a vulnerable position.

I. In Search of Natural Diamonds

After several attempts, the expedition team near Xeno’s castle manages to make artificial diamonds. However, the ‘diamond’ is merely the size of a sand grain, and they have to find a way to make larger chunks of it so that fits in the medusa’s core.

Senku reveals that there is no way of making bigger diamonds artificially, and they will have to search for natural diamonds. He immediately assures Magma that their efforts weren’t in vain.

Diamonds are the hardest substance found on Earth, and they can only be cut or shaped with another diamond. Since artificial diamonds are harder than natural ones, they can be used to grind and polish natural diamonds.

Chelsea marks the Lassen Peak’s area on the map, where the expedition team will most-likely find diamonds. Meanwhile, Senku’s crew won’t be sitting idle either, they are heading towards Araxa, the city enriched with rare ores and earth metals.

They wish to take full advantage of this stone sanctuary to find diamonds and other rare gems that will give them an advantage in their upcoming battle. Moreover, Senku always planned to build a city in South America, so founding this superalloy city will be like hitting two birds with one stone.

II. The Communication Problem

Senku conveys to the expedition team that this is their last conversation before the final battle begins. Judging from Stanley’s determination, Senku is sure that Stanley will catch up with them soon.

And if they keep communicating, it will reveal their position and nullify the whole point of building this stealth ship. But Senku assures that he will be open to one-way communication from the other end, and asks Joel to drop a message after he masters making diamond batteries for medusa.

III. A Meaningless Signal to Xeno

Xeno tries to tangle his claws into the radio wires, but Taiju stops him immediately. He apologizes and says that he was thinking of something, and his hand got stuck.

Shortly after that, Stanley receives a meaningless signal on his radar. This may have something to do with what Xeno did with the radio wires.

Stanley concludes that this signal is a warning sent by Xeno. He has already deciphered the secret message that Xeno conveyed while escaping. It states, “The goal is Araxa.”

He cannot nullify the chances of a stealth ship. After all, it’s Senku they are dealing with, so anything that science permits is possible. He immediately orders his henchmen to change the ship’s course and head towards Araxa.

IV. The Final Destination

In the next panel, Senku and his team are seen mining for diamonds and other gems. Once they find diamonds, they will have the best fighting chance against Stanley. They have also built an elevator that would help them in the process.

It seems we are finally heading towards the final science war between Senku and Stanley that will take place deep down in the Amazon at the Stone Sanctuary.
