Be that as it may, what Chrome and Suika propose in chapter 210 of Dr. Stone, might be the most impossible project yet.

Despite the combined genius of Senku and Xeno, they will only be able to create a one-way trip to the moon with the time they have.

With Senku, Tsukasa, and Ryusui being the potential crew for the mission, they can only hope for humanity to catch up and rescue them once they petrify themselves on the moon.

Chrome is having none of it, though, and he decides that he will create a return rocket along with Suika to make sure everyone is able to celebrate their victory against the Why-man.

We have seen some crazy things in the series, but all of them had a mind like Senku or Xeno as their center point, who gained their knowledge in modern civilization.

To create what they couldn’t, Chrome and Suika will have to surpass them in their lifetimes in order to make their wish come to fruition. They decide to start from scratch by learning maths from Sai.

Despite Chrome’s resolve, this is very unlikely to happen. The pace of all the progress in the world will likely slow down when Senku isn’t available to guide it. They have to make it before the trio even makes the trip.

Even the one-way rocket seems to be stretch for now; expect a time-skip before that happens. There is just no way the duo will be able to catch up to the knowledge of Senku or Xeno.

Watch Dr. Stone on:

Maybe a return rocket isn’t the only way to achieve this goal, or maybe Suika and Chrome will prove everyone wrong after all.
