Gakken Plus’ Megami Magazine’s September issue has been listed on retailer HMV & Books website with a cover image stating that adult manga Dogeza de Tanondemita (I Tried Asking While Kowtowing) by Kazuki Funatsu is inspiring an anime adaptation.
The September issue will ship on July 30 ( Thursday). The manga revolves around a man who kowtows in front of young women asking them to show him their underwear.
Kowtowing refers to a practice of kneeling on the ground such that your forehead touches the ground as well. Kowtowing has often been used to apologize or beg in animes as a gag.
Kazuki Funatsu debuted I Tried Asking While Kowtowing on Twitter. The manga later received a compiled volume by Kadokawa on March 18, 2018.
The author launched a new manga titled Mabataki Yori Hayaku (Faster Than the Blink of an Eye) in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine on March 19.
