List Of Characters that die in Goblin Slayer (Season 1)
I. Does Wizard Die in Goblin Slayer?
Wizard Dies in the first episode of Goblin Slayer after being stabbed in the abdomen by a goblin.
The blade was poisonous; the poison had already entered her system, and now no antidote could save her.
The Wizard then begs the goblin slayer to end her life, to which the goblin slayer obliges and kills her. Her remains were returned to her family in the Capital to be buried.
This tells us more about the dark world of Goblin Slayer, where even a powerful character like the Wizard was killed off in the anime’s opening.
II. Does Warrior Die in Goblin Slayer?
Warrior also died in the first episode of Goblin Slayer after a goblin stabbed him in the leg, and he fell; a horde of goblins then swarmed and devoured his body whole.
Warrior rushed on too hastily into the cave of the Goblins. When he heard the commotion caused by the Priestess and Wizard being ambushed by Goblins and the Wizard suffering critical injuries, he hurried back.
Warrior panicked and started swinging his sword wildly at the Goblins, which prevented Fighter from giving him back up and allowed a Goblin to stab him in the leg.
When Warrior tried to swing his sword, it hit against the cave walls, disarming him. Then, the Goblins surrounded him and cut him to death. When Goblin Slayer arrived, nothing was left of the Wizard’s remains to gather for burial.
III. Does Goblin Slayer’s Older Sister Die in the Anime?
During a goblin raid in their village, she died while protecting her younger brother. The events happened in the Goblin Slayers’ childhood but were shown in the 3rd Chapter of the 1st volume of the manga during a flashback.
She had barely enough time before the goblin horde surrounded her house. She buried her minor brother under the floorboards of their home and ordered him not to come out, no matter what happened to her.
As her little brother watched through a gap in the floorboards, numerous goblins immediately broke into their home, raped her, and then killed her.
Her attempts to conceal her younger brother paid off when he managed to survive the attack and grow up to become Goblin Slayer.
IV. Does Rhea Scout Die in Goblin Slayer?
Rhea Scout dies in volume 3, chapter 35, by the hand of the goblin slayer when he tries to attack both him and the guild girl during the festival.
Rhea already had a personal grudge against the goblin slayer and the Guild Girl because she demoted his rank and banned him from adventuring in the town.
So, when Dark Elf hired Rhea to create confusion during the festival, Rhea Obliged.
He surprised Guild Girl and the Goblin Slayer during the festival. Rhea Scout used quick reflexes to get the upper hand on Goblin Slayer with a poisoned dart before ecstatically celebrating his victory.
But Goblin Slayer, pretending to be dead, caught Rhea Scout off guard and murdered him by slicing his stomach before he could assault Guild Girl.
V. Does the Goblin Slayer Die in The Anime?
The Goblin Slayer has had multiple near-death experiences in the manga but has always managed to survive to see another day.
A very close call was his encounter with the Goblin Champion. He seemed dead when the Goblin Champion hit the Goblin Slayer on his side, rendering him unconscious.
His whole party was in trouble with the Goblins and on the Verge of death. But Orcbolg stood up, took command, and strangled the Goblin Champion to the point he almost died. He then Gouged out one of his eyes.
The goblin and the Goblin Champion retreated after seeing this, and the goblin slayer saved his party.
VI. Does the Priestess Die in Goblin Slayer?
The Priestess has also had multiple near-death encounters but has always been saved by someone or the other.
For instance, in the first episode, while the Priestess was also on the same mission as the Wizard, and as she watched them die, she thought it was her turn. The Goblin Slayer arrived and saved the Priestess.
The Goblin Slayer also saved the Priestess when she was on the Verge of dying at the hands of the Goblin Champion.
