Does Robin like Luffy? Will She end up with him or someone else?

Nico Robin is the archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates. She is the seventh member of the crew and the sixth to join, doing so at the end of the Arabasta Arc.

Robin trusted no one since everyone close to her betrayed her for money. This all changes after her encounter with Luffy in the Arabasta Arc who captivated her with his bold personality.

Luffy was the one person who was able to convince her that she should live even if the world does not want her to. It is also Luffy who made her want to join his crew.

Robin likes and respects Luffy as her captain. She liked Luffy ever since her first meeting with him aboard the Going Merry. She will do everything Luffy tells her to do without a question, since it was him who changed her world forever.

It is through Luffy, that Robin slowly starts to trust the people around her. Robin gradually opens her frozen heart all thanks to the warmth Luffy showered when she needed.

Who will Robin end up with?

Oda has clearly stated that, there will be no romance within the Straw Hat Pirates in an interview from jump festa 2008. Nevertheless, it’s already more than a decade and who knows the god Oda might have a surprise in store for us.

Among the Straw Hats, Robin is the most serene and has rarely been seen to act comically. She hardly expresses her feelings, but with 2 of her crewmate, that seems otherwise.

Robin is someone who rarely expresses her feelings. Yet, that’s not the case when it comes to Luffy or Franky. She shows various of her expressions and emotions to them rather openly. So, Robin is likely to end up with either Luffy or Franky.

Will Robin end up with Luffy?

Robin is very grateful to Luffy for having saved her life twice. Due to her past, she struggled to find a place she could call home until she met Luffy and joined his crew.

Luffy cares for Robin a lot and does not tolerate anyone hurting her. He has faith in her abilities and trusts her completely.

Robin cherishes Luffy like a son. She worries about Luffy’s well-being knowing how Luffy is quite reckless. Their relationship is more like a mother-son relationship.

Robin is by far the most patient and calm towards Luffy, out of all the crew members. Her relationship with Luffy can be best described as motherly. So, there is no chance of Robin ending up with Luffy.

Will Robin end up with Franky?

Robin and Franky get along fairly well. They have a special bond, because he is the first character outside of the Straw Hats who was ready to fight for her life (during Enies Lobby). Since then, Robin and Franky have been a consistent duo on various occasions and battles.

Franky is the one who could relate to her the most for the fact that she was hunted because she exists, he was also chased by the government.

Nico Robin seems to have a close relationship with Franky. She doesn’t mind when Franky rested his head on her lap when they were in the cell at Punk Hazard.

In Onigashima, Franky invited Robin to ride with him on the Kurosaki FR-U IV, which she happily accepted before Brook stole her seat.

They ending up together makes so much sense given that the cover page for nine hundred fifty-seven shows Franky has his arms around Robin. Also, the cover page for nine hundred eighty-six shows Robin stroking Franky’s face. These indications might be a clear foreshadowing of what is bound to come.

Robin and Franky care for one another and cherish each other a lot. They have similar past lives which gave them a unique bonding.

Their relationship is very evident from the cover pages of the series. Robin ending up with Franky is a likelihood after they find the One Piece treasure.
