The one thing that has made the people most curious about Jack Reacher is his romantic interests. Jack Reacher’s commitment issues are evident, but people who have watched season 1 wonder whether he will end up with someone.

1. Who does Jack Reacher end up with in the books?

The thing about Jack Reacher is that he doesn’t end up with anyone romantically, at least not permanently.

Jack Reacher isn’t the commitment type, but he briefly settles down with Jodie Garber, the daughter of one of his commanding officers, in Tripwire. But by Echo Burning, the two have broken up. He also sleeps with Detective Theresa Lee in Gone Tomorrow.

2. Does he end up with anyone in “The Affair”?

“The Affair,” was released in September 2011. In the book, Jack Reacher doesn’t end up with anyone. Although he develops a close bond with Sheriff Elizabeth Deveraux, their relationship’s primary focus is solving the central mystery and helping the wronged parties involved.
