Crossplay is an exciting feature which has become a staple in almost every game nowadays. It allows you and your friends to enjoy a game together irrespective of who is playing on what.
Does EA FC 25 have Crossplay?
Yes, EA FC 25 supports Crossplay. However, players are grouped by platform generation. Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC users can play together. Similarly, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamers are stuck with each other.
If you are playing on a current-generation console, you can’t play with someone on an older-generation console or vice versa.
Nintendo Switch does not support crossplay. However, you can play with other Switch users.
How to enable Crossplay in EA FC 25?
Crossplay is enabled by default in EA FC 25.
If you are still encountering problems with Crossplay, do the following:
- Go to Main Menu
- Open EA Connect
- Open the Social tab
- Go to Social Settings
- Click on Cross-Play
- Select Cross-Play Settings
- Under Cross-Play Enabled, click on ‘Yes’
You can also access this by going to Main Menu > Customise > Online Settings > Matchmaking Options.
To access crossplay settings from Ultimate Team, go to Main Menu > Ultimate Team > Settings > Matchmaking Settings.
Once Crossplay is enabled, you can add your friends in the Social tab. To form a squad, you can invite your friends to Ultimate Team, Co-Op, Pro Clubs matches.
You can’t enable or disable crossplay during an ongoing match.

Does EA FC 25 support cross-progression?
Cross-progression is only available on the same platform. If you are playing on a PlayStation 4, you can carry over your progress to a PlayStation 5. Same goes for an Xbox One to Xbox Series X/S. However, you can’t switch from PlayStation to Xbox or vice versa.
Cross-progression on PlayStation is only available in the Ultimate Team mode.
