Does Deathloop have difficulty settings? How to make the game easier?

Deathloop is a first-person shooter title developed by Arkane Lyon and published by Bethesda Softwares. Its gameplay revolves around a time-trapped assassin who has been ordered to kill eight Visionaries around the island of Blackreef by midnight.

If he leaves even one alive, the time loop will reset and undo all his work. Colt will reappear and have to restart his journey at the beginning of the loop if he dies before eliminating the eight targets.

3. Select the “Accessibility” tab at the very bottom.
4. Lastly, go to the “Gameplay” tab to access the features.

Here, you can slow down the game speed to make it easier to keep track of everything. Change the number of reprises (lives) to infinite, so the game doesn’t loop after you die, and you don’t have to restart all over again.

Toggle Aim Assist Lock to “Yes,” this way, the game will automatically lock onto a target, and you won’t have to fidget around on your controller to aim correctly.

Also, toggle “One Shot Kill” to “yes.” After it’s on, you can kill all the enemies with only a single hit, making the game a cakewalk.

Why is Deathloop so complicated?

Deathloop is extremely complicated due to its non-linear gameplay and unique mechanics that require excellent puzzle-solving abilities and visiting some game areas at different times of the day to progress.

IV. Get your Hands on the Sniper Rifle

Sniper rifles are rare in Deathloop, but I know the perfect place where you can find one. Head to Updaam in the afternoon, proceed to the right-hand edge of the map until you reach the gates of the Dorsey Mansion.

Now, walk into the bakery directly across the giant present, kill the Eternalists inside, and finally, loot the Sepulchra Breteira sniper from his body. 

V. Turn On the Single-Player Mode

Deathloop is set to the multiplayer mode by default. If you wanna chill out and relax while playing the game, do yourself a favor and switch to single player.

Usually, Julianna’s invasion is controlled by another player, but in a single-player, she will be AI-controlled, which is easier to beat comparatively.
