In episode 8 of Do It Yourself, the DIY club members successfully sell the items they made. They decide to start with the plan to make their secret hideout. Takumi asks Yua to create the illustrations for the tree house after noting everyone’s ideas.
After making the illustrations, Jobko decides to make the blueprints. Miku helps Jobko but asks her to keep it a secret from the other members.

Episode 9 Speculation
Jobko has finally completed the blueprints with Miku’s help, and they have almost collected the funds to buy the tree adjustment bolts. In the next episode, they will probably start building their secret hideout.
Yua has invited the members to her house to show something she has made. What is the thing that Yua made? We’ll get to know in the next episode.

No, episode 9 of Do It Yourself is not in break this week. It will be aired as scheduled. No delay has been announced so far.
Recap of Episode 8
At Rei’s place, the members bring out the DIY items they made at home. Jobko is praised for the DIY items she made. Kokoro shows them the items she made with the help of a 3D printer they have at school, which she used by ditching the security system and sneaking in.
Takumi made the aprons for DIY club members to wear officially from the ones she got from the workroom the other day.
Everybody seems to appreciate the aprons. Soon after, they discuss their earnings from the items they sold through Waku Waku Wan Wan and online. The items are more popular among the older women in the neighborhood.
Yua asks if the items she made got sold, which unfortunately did not. Rei tries to divert the topic to the discussions about their secret hideout but is caught by Kokoro.
According to Rei, they must first decide the type of hideout they want to build and then draw a blueprint. Jobko explains that the blueprint will give them an idea of the size, materials required, and construction order.
Since they are not making it for selling purposes, they don’t have to be precise about every millimeter. Takumi comes up with the idea to let Yua collect everyone’s opinion regarding the tree house and draw an illustration, as Yua is good with drawings
Yua pulls an overnight to draw beautiful illustrations, but it is unrealistic enough and hard to build. So, they combine ideas from each illustration to make a final one.
As they discuss who will make the blueprint, Haruko praises Serufu for her fantastic art. Jobko takes the initiative to make the blueprint. She takes the measurements of the tree with her device.
Since the DIY stuff she made did not sell, Yua is unsure what she will do to help when they start with the treehouse. Suddenly Yua is struck with an idea and asks her mother for the tools.
That night Miku hears sounds of using tools from Yua’s room, which makes her concerned for Yua. Jobko has trouble making the blueprints since she has to start from zero and has less than ten days.
Miku decides to help Jobko make the blueprints. Miku asks Jobko to keep it secret from other members that she helped.
