With Purin officially in the team, the girls start the much-awaited construction of their tree house in episode 11 of Do It Yourself!, titled “DIY’ Means Do It Yourself!”.

Rei’s parents help the club set up the TABs and the foundation. The construction is going smoothly, and the tree house is finally starting to take its shape!

The girls ran into the problem of insufficient materials for the roof. However, their beloved woodpecker mascot gives them an idea, and they are able to get over the hurdle quickly.

Episode 12 Speculation

The girls have been working hard, and we are approaching the completion of the secret hideout. In episode 12, titled “DIY’ Means Friendship, Always and Forever!”, we will be seeing the girls finish the last steps of the tree house.

It’s been a long process to reach this point. The club members may get a little emotional after seeing the fruits of their labor. We may also be seeing Jobko transferring to Yuuyuu as she was supposed to after summer vacation. However, even if she does transfer, she will always be part of the club like Shii and Purin.

The unique position of the club may even inspire the teachers to make it an official joint club between the two schools. Thus, students from both sides will be able to join!

Episode 12 Release Date

Episode 12 of the Do It Yourself! anime, titled “DIY’ Means Friendship, Always and Forever!”, has been released on Wednesday, Dec 21, 2022.

Serufu asks Purin to join the club to build their secret hideout. Purin is happy but tries to play it off. But Jobko gives her away, revealing she helped in making the accessories for the club funds and the blueprint of the tree house. Rei thanks Purin, and everyone’s insistence gets her to join finally.

Purin accidentally writes her nickname on the club member’s nameplate, and Serufu happily puts it on the board. Rei is happy that they now have six members, even though two of them aren’t recognized as official members due to them being from a different schools. Everyone welcomes Purin.

When it’s time to go back, Purin sees Serufu standing beneath the tree and thanks her for inviting her under her breath. Everyone is super excited to start on their tree house.

The next day, Rei shows everyone the Tree Attachment Bolt (TABs) and explains how they are used to support the beams for the foundation of the tree house.

Rei’s parents pull over, and she explains she called them to drive in the TABs and beams. Rei’s father is the managing director of Waku Waku Wan Wan, and her mother is the president. As pros, they will be able to put it up better.

They use their equipment and expertise to finish up the work and everyone remarks how professional work is truly impressive. Rei tells them they may need their help later. The parents are glad to give any help. They call it a day since it’s already evening.

The club starts on the tree house’s floor the next day. Everyone is working hard and they are done with it in a few days. Haruko brings snacks for them to take a break and they are all very happy. The treehouse is coming together slowly but surely.

They are making good progress. Serufu, while talking to Purin through their balconies one night, notes that they will probably be done with their construction by summer vacation. To recognize the club, they still need two more official members and Serufu is optimistic that they will come once the treehouse is complete.

Serufu remarks that even though she wants to see their hideout finished, she doesn’t want this time to end. Purin tells her she feels the same way since they are all having so much fun together on this project. However, seeing Serufu’s grin, she gets embarrassed and runs away to sleep.

Unfortunately, the girls run into a problem as they realize they don’t have enough materials for the roof. As they are trying to come up with a solution, their club mascot, the woodpecker that lives on the tree beside the club room and is seemingly there during all their joys and sorrows, flies down and begins pecking on the old club room. The girls are hit with a sudden flash of idea.

They realize they can take out planks from their old club room. Haruko tells them to just make sure it’s from the spots that aren’t visible. They take off planks from floors, walls, wherever they can and soon have enough. The girls cheer for their last spurt.
