The DIY club hears the disappointing news about the disappearance of their materials in episode 10 of Do It Yourself!, titled “DIY’ Means… Rock Bottom? Impossible? With Courage and Drive, Anything is Possible!”
However, they refuse to give up, and their persistence and efforts shine through as they are able to recollect all the materials by posting flyers and asking for unwanted lumber from around the neighborhood.
Haruko reveals the origins of the DIY club and her own time as a club member during her high-school years. Miku finally joins the group for the construction of the hideout.

Episode 11 Speculation
With enough materials once again, the girls will finally start with the construction of their secret hideout. Serufu invited Miku to be part of the plan, so she will also be joining the project.
Making a treehouse is a huge undertaking, but the girls will do their best to make the best hideout they can. They may run into some problems, but they will work as a team to solve everything.
The school students may get interested after seeing the club work, and it’s quite a possibility that they will be able to secure more members!

Episode 10 Recap
Haruko breaks down the news about the disappearance of the materials. Sadly, a paperwork error led to the club’s materials getting picked up with the other industrial waste, and it is not possible to retrieve them anymore.
She apologizes for not paying more attention. Everyone is dejected after hearing the news.
Jobko tells Purin about everything after reaching home. Hearing how depressed Serufu looked, she finds the old wood from the bench they used to play on as kids and decides to bring it to her.
She finds Serufu in a dazed state in her room. Trying to cheer her up, Purin tells Serufu of her idea to try to collect discarded lumber and other materials from people’s houses and other places everyone has some broken furniture they don’t need.
Serufu sees her and Purin’s names on the wood and comes out of her daze. She gets excited and suddenly notices Purin in the room. Purin realizes Serufu was just zoned out as she was imagining the same idea and didn’t even notice she reached home. Nonetheless, she thanks Purin for worrying about her.
The next day, everyone gathers at the clubhouse early. Turns out, everyone had the same idea. They make flyers asking for raw materials from people and Jobko adds a posting on the internet. Everyone is hyped up to recollect the materials.
Slowly but surely, people start responding to the flyers and donating all the materials they can. Schoolmates, the old ladies who shop from Waku Waku Wan Wan, houses that have spare lumber in their yards, the beach, they gather materials from everyone and everywhere.
Haruko comes in through and procures half the materials on her own.
She reveals that she got all the materials from the old members of the club. Everyone is pleasantly surprised to find out she was part of the club as well. She tells them how there were too many members in the club at her time and everyone was always making something.
The alumni of the club are still doing DIY as their second nature, even after growing up. They were more than happy to provide materials after hearing about their beloved club making a hideout.
Technology may have grown and become more accessible, but making something together with your own efforts will always be a wonderful thing.
Haruko also tells everyone that their present clubroom was actually made by the first generation of the DIY club and she has the utmost belief that they will be able to finish their secret hideout as well.
Serufu notices Purin looking down from her school window and calls her out. She invites her to be part of the plan.
About Do It Yourself!!
Do It Yourself is an original anime series by studio PINE JAM. Kazuhiro Yoneda is directing the anime, and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is penning down the series script.
The anime will follow the daily adventures of Purin and her five school friends who find joy in working on various DIY projects. No matter how much they struggle or how many times they fail, they don’t give up and see the projects through to their end.
