Oboromon was the antagonist in episode 42 of Digimon Ghost Game titled “Human Hunter.”
Gulusgammamon was back in this episode. It was a terrifying episode. Hiro and Ruri were in deep trouble; if not for Gulusgammamon, they would have been gone for good.
The episode hinted at some hidden intentions of Gulusgammamon. Other than that, it was a pretty generic episode.

Episode 43 Speculations
Eyesmon will be the villain in episode 43 of Digimon Ghost Game titled “Red Eye.”
Seeing the preview, the episode looks creepy. It is quite gross, with eyes popping up on all body parts. Some fans are speculating that it might be Shademon. There are other possibilities, as well as there are multiple identical Digimons.
It will be good if the anime tries something different other than these generic episodes. We often get hinted towards a bigger plot whenever Gulusgammon shows up, but it’s high time they try something new.

Episode 42 Recap
A lady is trying to run away from some blue clouds. She reaches the dead end, and a Digimon attacks her, stabbing her with a sword. It takes her high above the sky, and the scene cuts to the protagonists.
Hiro, Ruri, and Kiyo are sitting in a cafe. Ruri tells them that this time they have to deal with an oni-demon. Someone has asked her for help as her sister has been taken away by this demon.
Espimon shows up and confirms the rumors. Ruri decides to go there and deal with the demon. On reaching the place, they are greeted by the complainer. She tells them that her sister was taken away by an oni.
She tells them that some of the kidnapped people have also come back. She takes them to the place where her sister disappeared. They split up to search the place.
Suddenly they start getting chased by the same kind of clouds. A Digimon shows up in front of Ruri and another in front of Hiro and Kiyo. Each of them asks them about some color.
Angoramon tells Ruri that it is Oboromon, and they don’t know much about them. The Oboromon that showed up in front of Kiyo and Hiro asks for red color. He sees Hiro’s red jacket and ignores him, going after Kiyo.
However, Kiyo gets hold of Hiro’s jacket leading to Oboromon taking away Hiro. At Ruri’s side, the Oboromon asks for blue color. Ruri and the girl starts running away. Hiro is sent to a void red dimension.
She gets surrounded by yellow, black, and blue Oboromon. She gets away from yellow and black but fails to satisfy blue. He gets ready to attack. Angoramon evovles to Symbaangoramon. However, it fails to save Ruri.
Gammamon is furious and tells them to leave Hiro. All the Oboromon gather to compare who got the most sacrifices. Red Oboromon wins and is declared their king. After many failed attempts, Gammamon transforms into Gulusgammaon.
Gulusgammaon easily defeats all the Obormon and frees everyone. When Hiro comes out of the dimension. Gulusgammaon tells him that he has made it one step ahead, leaving Hiro confused.
Gammamon comes back to normal, and everyone is saved.
