GulusGammamon returned in episode 21 of Digimon Ghost Game titled “The Spider’s Lure.”
Digimon Ghost Game is getting darker and more gruesome with every passing episode. We got to see more innocent lives ending at just the beginning of the episode, and I don’t think the anime will boil down the content.
It will probably bring in more disturbing and dark content as it continues its run.
We finally got to see GulusGammamon, and though it was short, his return was epic. The anime is hyping up and making room for something big to happen in the future, but it seems that it will take us some time to reach that point.
For now, we will keep getting hinted about impending doom. So till then, let’s enjoy these awesome episodic episodes.

Episode 22 Speculations
Hiro and friends are trapped in a dream episode 22 of Digimon Ghost Game titled “Nightmare.”
The situation they seem to be in is no less than a nightmare (literally). It is hard to predict which Digimon will feature in the next episode, as there are a lot of Digimons who can mess up with someone’s dreams.
For the preview, it looks like it’s finally time for Kiyo to shine. It will be a breath of fresh air if we get to see some development for him. What’s in the store for the next episode can’t be predicted as we don’t even know the Digimon who will cause a nuisance in the next episode.
Let’s hope we get to see something as epic as episode 22.
Episode 22 Release Date
Episode 22 of the Digimon Ghost Game anime, titled “Nightmare”, has been released on Saturday, Mar 19, 2022.

Yes, episode 22 of Digimon is on break this week. The episode will release one week late, i.e., on 19 March.
Episode 21 Recap
Some engineers investigate a place with a scientist. When they are at it, suddenly they get trapped in some webs, and the next second, a monster eats up the scientist’s head.
A certain lady shows up at Hiro’s house. She introduces herself as Sonya Molena, who used to work with Hiro’s mother in a non-profit organization.
Knowing that Hiro is a curious child, she tells him about an event on strange and intelligent insects and wants him to join her.
She sites for such a claim because she knows he is interested in strange creatures like his friend, referring to Gammamon. Hiro agrees to join her. She insists he calls his other friends to join in too. Kiyo and Ruri meet them at the event location, and they go in together.
Ruri finds something off about the place as the mall they are in closed some years ago, and some people worked on an AI robot here. Sonya is quite impressed by her knowledge but doesn’t answer her doubts.
When they reach the location, it is a dark hall with nothing there. Sonya tells them that she reserved the place for them.
They notice that the whole palace is filled with spider webs. Sonya begins praising their mind and proposes a desire to eat it. She evolves into a giant spider.
She is revealed to be Archnemon, known for her intelligence and cunningness. She calls upon her army of spiders to attack them. Seeing the hordes of spiders coming in, they run in different directions.
They try their best not to get trapped by the spiders. Jellymon evolves into Teslajellymon (again) and Angoramon into Symbaangorammon (again). Gammamon evolves into Wezengammamon. Despite all their efforts, they ultimately get trapped in her web.
She wants to eat Gammamon first. Hiro repeatedly warns her not to do that, but she doesn’t hear and moves on to eat him, which awakens GulusGammamon. GulusGammamon quickly obliterates her, freeing everyone.
Hiro looks up at GulusGammamon and is about to speak when he stops him, saying it’s not time yet, and evolves back into Gammamon. A mysterious Digimon is looking from above whose identity isn’t revealed.
Later, Hiro gets a message from his mother, who tells him that her friend named Soniya will visit Japan sometime soon and requests him to show her around.
About Digimon
Digimon, short for “Digital Monsters,” is a Japanese media franchise offering toy pets, manga, anime, games, films, and even a trading card game. The franchise was created back in 1997 as a series of virtual pets, influenced by Tamagotchi/nano Giga Pet toys.
The franchise gained momentum with its first anime, Digimon Adventure, and an early video game, Digimon World, both of which were released in 1999.
Digimon, the series focuses on monsters like creatures, who inhabit a “Digital World,” a parallel universe that originated from Earth’s various communication networks. Digimon hatch from eggs called Digi-Eggs, and they go through Digivolution, which changes their appearance and increases their powers over time.
The effect of Digivolution, however, is not permanent. Digimon who have digivolved will find most of the time revert back to their previous form after a battle or if they are too weak to continue. Most of them can even speak.
