Digimon Ghost Game Episode 12: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 11 of Digimon Ghost Game titled “Kamaitachi” is the series’ latest installment.

This episode was quite different from a typical Digimon episode. Both Ruri and Angoramon evolved but not in the traditional sense. Rather than receiving powerups, they grew as characters and showed a different type of Digimon-human relationship.

We see how Angoramon has a life outside of hanging out with Ruri. He is a part of a midnight society of lost Digimons that meets to discuss their findings of the human world and make sense of their situation.

Even though Ruri has a hard time accepting this, she eventually understands that it is okay for Angoramon to have a life of his own.

We expected Angoramon to evolve into his higher Digimon form but were pleasantly surprised to see him grow as a character. With a new outlook on their relationship, what adventures will Ruri and Angoramon go on next? Keep watching to find out.

Episode 12 Speculation

In episode 12, a chain mail is circulating to everyone. Little does anyone know, an evil Digimon is lurking inside them, intending to create havoc.

With yet another cyber threat, we could see the brilliant teamwork between Jellymon and Kiyo once again. How will Hero and his friends find a way to save everyone? We’ll find out in the next episode of Digimon Ghost Game.

Episode 12 of the Digimon Ghost Game anime, titled “Chain Letter”, has been released on Saturday, Dec 25, 2021.

Episode 11 Recap

In episode 11, people are experiencing strange weather shifts as a stroke of wind suddenly makes the atmosphere very chilly and causes blackouts. Ruri and Angoramon roam outside as Ruri takes pictures of her surroundings using a vintage camera.

Suddenly, the air around them becomes cold, and a sign almost falls on top of Ruri. Luckily, Angoramon saves her just in time.

This leads to a conversation where Ruri asks Angoramon that there must be places that he wants to visit because she sees him running off to somewhere every night.

She then questions him about where he goes, but Angoramon refuses to tell her. They have a disagreement, and Ruri is slightly annoyed with her Digimon for not sharing information.

Later, we find out that Angoramon is part of a secret group of Digimon. They have lost themselves in the human world and share information that might help them understand more about their situation. The group meets every night, shares their findings, and tries out various flavors of human tea.

Ruri is alone in a Bamboo forest, again taking pictures with her vintage camera. Just then, the air turns cold again, and Digimon appears, slashing her camera.

She is protected and attacked by Reppamon, who seems to have lost control of his tail. His tail is quite sharp and is hell-bent on displaying its power, regardless of whether or not Reppamon wants the same.

His slashes are the reason behind the cold winds throughout the episode. Hero and Gammamon make their way towards Ruri to save her when they find out she’s in trouble.

Back in the bamboo forest, Ruri figures out that the tail has a brain of its own and dominates Reppamon’s remaining body.

It is made evident that the main body and tail disagree and keep arguing with each other. Finally, Hiro, Gammamon and, Angoramon arrive at the scene to save Ruri.

They manage to trap Rappamon and force his tail and main body to come to an agreement. Angoramon invites him to his midnight club meetings to make his life easier.

This makes Ruri and Angoramon realize that they, too, needed to talk about their problems calmly. The two apologize to each other and realize how important communication is.

Ruri says that she is sorry for not accepting that Angoramon could have things that she didn’t need to share with her.

Angoramon also accepts his mistake and tells Ruri that he couldn’t reveal anything because his group had agreed not to talk about their meetings with humans.

About Digimon

Digimon, short for “Digital Monsters,” is a Japanese media franchise offering toy pets, manga, anime, games, films, and even a trading card game. The franchise was created back in 1997 as a series of virtual pets, influenced by Tamagotchi/nano Giga Pet toys.

The franchise gained momentum with its first anime, Digimon Adventure, and an early video game, Digimon World, both of which were released in 1999.

Digimon, the series focuses on monsters like creatures, who inhabit a “Digital World,” a parallel universe that originated from Earth’s various communication networks. Digimon hatch from eggs called Digi-Eggs, and they go through Digivolution, which changes their appearance and increases their powers over time.

The effect of Digivolution, however, is not permanent. Digimon who have digivolved will find most of the time revert back to their previous form after a battle or if they are too weak to continue. Most of them can even speak.
