Marvel Hawkeye Episode 3 Confirms Kingpin in Marvel Cinematic Universe

Hawkeye Episode 3, while predominantly focussed on the action sequences, also hinted at some critical plot points and significant character easter eggs. One of the significant easter eggs involved the infamous Kingpin, aka Wilson Fisk, whom we’ve seen in the Daredevil series.

Well, if you missed the Easter Eggs, here’s everything we know about the Kingpin so far.

The Kingpin might be the boss of the Tracksuit Mafia and the ‘uncle’ that Kazi The Clown refers to in the episode while talking with Echo. Even Hawkeye mentions ‘there’s someone above Echo,’ which confirms that Kingpin exists in the MCU.

In episode 3, we discovered a major plotline. Ronin was the one who killed Echo’s father. He was seen wearing a red jumpsuit with white straps, which makes him a part of the Tracksuit Mafia.

Furthermore, Kazi also tells Echo how her father would always protect the team first, which is one more confirmation that he was a part of the Tracksuit Mafia. Echo saw him get murdered by the Ronin, and she sought vengeance.

Besides this, Hawkeye also tells Kate Bishop that there’s someone above Echo, and she isn’t the actual boss. This could mean The Kingpin is the actual TM Bros boss. He tells how Ronin had stirred up the upper management of the Tracksuit Mafia. This gives Kingpin enough reason to want revenge against Ronin.

Another huge easter egg is that when Echo is a small kid, a thick hand with a black suit is stroking her chin. This man could be the Kingpin.

While there are three more episodes to go in Hawkeye, this episode set up the existence of Kingpin in the MCU. There’s also a tweet from Vince O’nofrio replying to Hawkeye’s announcement tweet.

Well, whatever it is, I think I want to see the Kingpin showdown against Hawkeye. Be it, Clint or Kate Bishop. I guess we just have to find out.
