Talk about being an all-rounder! Sawamura has been nailing it in every field this match, pitching at his peak and lifting the spirit of his team higher than Elon Musk’s career.
Now one thing which can make this match legendary in its true form, is a home run from our Acejun.
I believe the eighth inning is either going to make it or break it for Seidou, and just imagining Sawamura bringing home a runner and shining like a true ace in this match brings peace to my heart.
Is Terajima sensei going to listen to our cries, or is he going to yeet out on us and extend the match till the final innings? As we anticipate the answer, here are the updates on the next chapter of Diamond no Ace Act 2.

3. Chapter 242 Recap
A chance for Seidou to equal out the scoreboard against Sankou has been born in the bottom of 7th, and propelling the pressure of making that chance fruitful, Kanemaru faces the ace of Sankou, Amahisa.
Even this late in the game, Amahisa has not let the heat and pressure drag his performance down and throws the first pitch to Kanemaru at his best speed, 151KM.
Although it was a little too deep inside the corner, his pitches still have the speed and the edge, which has been enough to cease Seidou from scoring.
However, Kanemaru, a batter from the bottom of the lineup, swings on a pitch like that with no hesitation. Even though he could not put the ball forward, his gutsy and unwavering attitude annoys Amahisa.
Kanemaru is confident enough in himself to keep up with Amahisa’s pitches and is set on bringing Zono to the home base to tie out the game. He carefully reads the pitch, avoiding giving in to the bait by Amahisa, and waits for a weaker pitch.
Kanemaru’s attitude and the blooming heat of summer gets to Amahisa’s head, and he ends up pitching in the zone Kanemaru was looking for.
Kanemaru hits it for a run, but Sankou’s fielders are quick on their feet and retire him on a grounder to second.
With three outs, it’s time to switch sides, and Amahisa’s fire to win this match reaches his teammates too, gearing them up. Sawamura also cheers up his team to overturn the unsettling mood.
Unable to hold it in anymore, Nori stands up and starts shadow pitching to warm up his shoulder, even though he is banned from pitching.
His silently expressed will reaches the hearts of Seidou players and the audience watching the match. Will this motivate the team enough to steal the lead from Sankou? Or Sankou score another run, confirming their victory?
