Diamond no Ace Act II Chapter 240: Release Date, Delay, and Discussions

You know that one smart guy in a group project, who does all the work as others enjoy the luxury of his hard work and then take credit at the end? Yeah, that’s Sawamura and his team, Seidou, in this game.

Sawamura is throwing the best pitches he’s capable of, stopping Sankou from scoring any more runs and depending on his team to balance out the one-run lead Sankou has.

While Seidou’s batters let down Sawamura and the fans, we are furiously waiting for Seidou to make a comeback into the match with just 3 innings remaining. As fans anticipate Acejun to shine and win this match, we bring the updates on the next chapter of Diamond no Ace Act II.

1. Chapter 240 Discussion and Prediction

Fans are furious and frustrated at the poor performance by Seidou’s batters. Sawamura has been giving his best while trusting his teammates on getting a run, but they keep letting him down time and time again.

In the last panel of the chapter, we can see that Sawamura is also starting to get frustrated. Fans speculate that now he may throw some amazing pitches to steal the game’s momentum from Ichidai. At this point, I’m convinced that if by any chance Seidou wins, it will be a clutch and not a win.

In the next chapter, we will find out if any of the team scores in the seventh inning, with Sawamura all fired up to prove his worth and Amahisa pushing himself not to let this be his senpai’s last game for this summer.

Kataoka also addresses that Amahisa must be under a lot of pressure to defend the one-run lead, so easy pitches are sure to come their way. They should not let those pitches slip away and must steal the lead from Sankou. It is now the bottom of 7th and Amahsia pitches to Zono. Will he be able to make contact?

5. Chapter 239 Recap

The game between Sankou and Seidou has reached its midpoint, with Sankou’s one run lead weighing heavy on Seidou. Amahisa is quenching his insatiable desire to evolve with the help of Sawamura, as he pushes himself to higher limits.

In this game of a pitcher duel, now the question remains whose stamina is going to hold up in the second half as the game enters the top of sixth.

Sawamura is determined not to cede any more runs to Seidou and strikes out the first two opening batsmen of Sankou. However, the 3rd batter, Miyagawa, sends the ball into the center field, allowing Hoshida to take the plate.

Miyuki plans to finish him off with inside one this time, but Hoshida manages to land a hit. However, the second baseman, Kominato, swiftly deals with it, moving the game to the bottom of sixth.

For Seidou, although the batting order started with the top batters, Amahisa manages to push the situation to 2 outs and a runner on first. Coming at 4th, Miyuki is focused on scoring a run for the team.
