With the main cannon of Sankou out, the tide was turning in Seidou’s favor, but it was still far from safe as Sankou’s lineup had no weak links.

4. Chapter 235 Recap
With a breaking ball to the outside corner, Sawamura managed to dismiss the cannon of Sankou, Hoshida. Following him, next up to bat is Sasaki. Sankou is two out, and Seidou is aiming for the third one without letting their guard down even for a moment.
Miyuki notices that Sasaki is also dead set on choking his bat, so he plans to locate the pitch where he can’t reach it. A cutter that goes from a strike to a ball, just as Sawamura pitched to Hoshida.
Sawamura is also determined that if they keep their defense tight and connect it to their next attack, they can still create a game flow favorable to them.
Sasaki has experienced how intimidating Sawamura as a pitcher is firsthand in spring, so he loosens up his grip and bets it all on the outside corner.
Sasaki steps in on the line and manages to land a hit through the 3rd base to shallow left field. Noticing that it was Masashi as the left fielder, Miyagawa runs for the home base.
Masashi throws the ball too high, and Miyagawa reaches the base safely, earning Ichidai their first run and the lead in the game.
