Sankou’s coach oversees the practice of the players when some of the seniors greet him. Sawamura sends Kousei a text saying, ‘Let’s both do our best,’ Manaka joins Kousei and checks on his health, knowing that he will be pitching in the game against Seidou.

Kousei talks about his trust in the team and working on his pitches. When Manaka feels like he has grown, he spills about being a hero, getting covers on the front pages of a sports magazine, and followers are increasing and becoming a big shot player.

Thes outspoken thoughts make Manaka change his mind.

II. Seidou’s Practice

On the other hand, Seidou players gather to practice their game, Wakana gives Sawamura the excellent news that she’ll be there to watch his game and so will his family.

Nori doesn’t throw that day to keep his injury. Seidou teachers and their coach discuss the upcoming game and express their hopes for Sawamura.

In the field, Sawamura practices his pitches with their fielder and captain watching.

They analyze his backspin, which could endanger his other balls; that’s why Sawamura tells them he has done some independent research to find a grip that won’t affect his fastball and decides to show them, ending the chapter before it.

Chapter 220 of the Diamond, no Ace Act II manga, is not on a break this week. It will continue in the next issue of the Weekly Shōnen Magazine on Thursday, July 23, 9:30 am PDT.

6. About Diamond no Ace Act II

Ace of Diamond, also known as Diamond no Ace, is a Japanese shōnen baseball manga series written and illustrated by Yuji Terajima and published by Kodansha.

Weekly Shōnen Magazine has serialized it from 2006 to 2015. A sequel titled Ace of Diamond Act II started in 2015. The series follows one Eijun Sawamura, a baseball pitcher with a very unusual changeup pitch that has occurred naturally.

Sawamura plans to go with his friends to a local high school and play baseball to the best of their abilities. However, one scout from the prestigious Seidou High approaches him and offers him a scholarship and a chance to make it to the nationals.

Sawamura decides to pay a visit to the school, and it changes his entire outlook on the future.
