Diamond no Ace Act II Chapter 273: Release Date, Delay, Discussion

Chapter 272 of Diamond no Ace Act II, titled “The Memory,” was the manga’s latest chapter.

Furuya is finally back in his top form, and everyone is expecting him to break the 160kmph record. Narumiya’s performance was excellent too, and when he came face to face with Furuya, the audience almost lost it.

Just as the ground fills up with the echoes of Narumiya and Furuya, we see a concerned Sawamura looking at them. We know that Sawamura wants to be recognized for his hard work, and he might get upset when he doesn’t get attention.

What exactly is he thinking? Will he let Furuya’s success and recognition impact him negatively? We’ll find out in the next chapter.

1. Chapter 273 Discussions and Predictions

The chapter begins with the crowd holding their breaths as the second round of the showdown between the ace, Narumiya, and the fourth batter results in another out. It’s two outs with a runner on second and five-hole Maezono enters the batter’s box.

Maezono is strong in clutch with seven RBI to his name so far. As Narumiya throws his next pitch, he mentally challenges his opponent to let his guard down since he underestimates him.

Although it’s a sharp hit, Yabe, the third baseman, skilfully fields, and now it’s three outs for Seidou.

Seidou failed to score in the current inning despite their clean-ups, creating a great opportunity. The crowd cheers on, asking them to keep up with the aggressive swinging. Without wasting time, they switch to defense.

It’s the bottom of the fourth, and Inashiro will now attack. Batting fifth is ace Narumiya. He mocks Kazuya, saying that if he drops out of the game, maybe Seidou has a chance of winning.
