Devils Line, a 2018 vampire anime, is undoubtedly a guilty pleasure of many otakus. After the finale of Season 1, many people felt that the series deserved a better ending.
Season 2 of Devils Line is highly anticipated, especially by the female weebs.
The story follows Tsukasa Taira, a 22-year-old college student, and Yuuki Anzai, a half-human, half-vampire who works at Division 5, investigating vampire-related crimes in the city.
One unsuspecting day, Tsukasa gets attacked by a vampire, and Anzai manages to save her. This is when the two experience an attraction towards each other.
However, the vampirish tendencies of Anzai start taking over him, and he is overcome by the desire to devour Tsukasa.
Moreover, vampire crimes start increasing, and Anzai must protect the city while overcoming his urge to drink human blood.

1. Release Date
Season 2 of Devils Line is yet to be renewed. Season 1 ended in June 2018 and was followed by an OVA in August of the same year. We expect Season 2 to release by Summer or Fall 2023.
Season 1 finale felt rushed to many, after which the OVA provided a better conclusion to the series.
Even though Devils Line anime feels complete, fans still hope for a full manga adaptation. Hence, we’ll have to wait for the production team to announce another season.
2. What To Expect From Season 2
As of Season 1 and the OVA, 8 volumes or 41 chapters of the manga have been covered. There are 14 volumes in total, and the manga is complete. Season 2 would cover volumes 9-14 of the anime and could be the final season.
In Season 2, Anzai and Tsukasa drift apart as the real drama of “I must stay away from her to protect her” starts. Not being a part of Division 5 anymore also takes a toll on Anzai.
He suffers both mentally and physically. Existential crisis kicks in and as he faces the vampires who were arrested by him in the past.
