Demon Slayer’s Spanish Editor Reveals That Manga Is Ending In May

The final arc of Demon Slayer was announced last February, and the story will conclude very soon. In Tanjiro’s quest to turn Nezuko back into a human, he has progressed a lot. Still, unfortunately, every story must come to an end.

While Shueisha has not officially announced the end of the series, Norma Editorial, the official licensor for the Spanish fans of the series announced in a live stream that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is ending in May. This comes as no shock as the main storyline has been completed with Muzan’s death.

Demon Slayer was the hottest manga series of 2019. It outsold One Piece and was the best selling manga of the year, a title that One Piece had held for around a decade.

Even if the main Demon Slayer series ends, personally I would love to see a spinoff series sometime soon.

Shueisha has not yet announced the end. However, licensors are always informed prior to a hiatus or a finale so that they can meet their publishing schedules.

Anabel Espada Norma, an editor at Norma Editorial, was asked by a fan in the live stream about her knowledge of future climaxes in the story. In reply to that, she said that her team had been notified about the manga’s end.
