Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 6 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Tanjiro unlocks yet another memory of the legendary swordsman in the past in episode 5 of Demon Slayer season 3, titled “Bright Red Sword.”

With the Upper-Rank demons quickly turning the tables and bringing their opponents to the ground, Tanjiro uses Nezuko’s help in order to remember yet another aspect of his past ancestor. This legendary swordsman brought even Muzan to near death.

Tokito discovers more about his past as he continues battling these demons and even finds himself selfless enough to use his body as a shield to protect two strangers. However, that kindness may prove to be his downfall.

1. Episode 6 Speculation: 

Tanjiro walked into Genya holding the last demon’s head but found him growling and drooling, looking extremely feral and possibly even out of control. It is unlikely, but there is a possibility that Genya immediately jumps to attack Tanjiro as he seems out of control.

Tokito’s fight will likely be the highlight of the next episode as he is currently trapped within a water prison. He doesn’t have any way out from the inside and will probably get help from Kotetsu and Kanamori, who are nearby and watching the fight.

2. Episode 6 Release Date

Episode 6 of the Demon Slayer Season 3 anime has been released on Sunday, May 14, 2023. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

3. Recap of Episode 5:

Tokito runs through the forest with Kotetsu on his shoulder and quickly slices the monster at the foot of the tree. He quickly takes him to his work shed, where he’s storing Tokito’s new sword since his current one is highly chipped.

They sprint through the forest and approach the shed, but Tokito quickly stops the two of them since he senses the presence of a demon. A vase rolls out of the bush, and out of it forms the Upper Five Gyokko, who promptly greets them.

Meanwhile, the village is being run down by the fish monsters, and people are falling left and right. Still, Mitsuri reaches just in time, slashes through them all exceptionally quickly, and makes her way to the village chief, who is being squished by a giant monster.

Mitsuri uses the first form of Love Breathing and takes out the monster, catching Tecchin and checking on him. Back in the main house, Nezuko tries to run away with Tanjiro but is quickly struck by lightning. Luckily Tanjiro wakes back in time and manages to take Nezuko and run.

Along with half the house, the two of them get blasted into rubble, and Nezuko finds herself trapped under a bunch of rocks. Gyokko teases Tokito and wants to show them his new artwork, made from the corpses of the skilled swordsmiths of the village and displayed with gruesome beauty.

Kotetsu and Kanamori fall sobbing at the sight of their friends’ corpses, and Tokito immediately attacks him in annoyance, but he teleports away into another vase. The repeated attacks get on Gyokko’s nerves, who summons monsters from his vases, which Tokito struggles to defend against.

Gyokko’s words trigger a memory from Tokito’s past. However, he has no time to reminisce as he quickly gets trapped in a water prison, resulting in his Blood Demon Art leaving him no way to escape. Meanwhile, Nezuko lights Tanjiro’s blade on fire using her Exploding Blood Art.

He remembers yet another inherited memory, one of the mysterious swordsmen who held a flaming sword just like he does now. Wielding it, he faces the clones head-on and prepares for his attack. Only the Anger clone recognizes the parallel with the same swordsman who nearly beheaded Muzan all those years ago.

But it is too late, as Tanjiro slices through all three of their heads with his Hinokami Kagura, Heads Dance. Quickly turning to search for the last demon to behead him at the same time, he finds a feral Genya stabbed through the chest but holding the head of his enemy.
