In episode four, titled “Insult,” Tanjiro woke up and realized the slayers were put under a spell by a demon. He also found out the demon had fused with the train as they were asleep.
Tanjiro tried to wake his friends up but got attacked by the insomniac kids. He knocked them out as Enmu was using them and found the demon on the train’s roof. Enmu is astonished by Tanjiro’s willpower to break from his spell and gets his head chopped off.
Enmu revealed how he’s fused with the train, and everyone is his meal. Inosuke woke up in the end and took on Enmu’s attacks on the people.

Episode 5 Speculations and Discussion
It was fun to see Inosuke and Zenitsu’s subconscious in episode four. Tanjiro’s determination and willpower to keep breaking from the spell were just insane. It seems like Enmu had no chance until the reveal at the end.
Enmu is now fused with the whole train and plans to use the passengers, but luckily Inosuke woke up to help Tanjiro. Will Zenitsu and Rengoku wake up in time to help protect the people?
Tanjiro will figure out a way to take down Enmu in the next episode as the slayers protect the people from danger. Inosuke and Tanjiro will team up to take down Enmu while the others make sure the people are safe.

Episode 5 Release Date
Episode 5 of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, titled “Move Forward”, has been released on Sunday, Nov 14, 2021.

Episode 4 Recap
This episode continues with Tanjiro making a risky decision and slashing his neck to wake up from his dream. At the exact moment, the infiltrator in Tanjiro’s dream finds his core but cannot destroy it as he considers Tanjiro’s conscious warm and pure.
Meanwhile, the other infiltrators are struggling in Inosuke and Zenitsu’s dream. Tanjiro finally gets up and checks out the situation with slayers. He finds out the ropes have a familiar demon scent and realize the ticket gives off the same scent.
Trying to wake up the other slayers, Tanjiro tells Nezuko to burn off their ropes. As Tanjiro tries to think of a way to wake the slayers up, the insomniac kids attack him. Finding out the demon is using the kids, Tanjiro knocks them out.
Afterward, Tanjiro exits the cabin and senses the strong demon scent that he understands is coming from the front of the train. As he gets on top of the train, he spots the demon and confronts it. Enmu asks Tanjiro if his dreams were not fulfilled, and that is why he was awake.
Enmu explains his way of remotely taking out the slayers and mentions how the dream spell was activated when a ticket was punched. He then wonders how Tanjiro manages to wake up in such a short time.
Tanjiro uses a water breathing technique and moves to attack, but Enmu uses his demon blood art to make Tanjiro fall asleep. To Enmu’s surprise, Tanjiro keeps waking up and continues to battle.
Enmu realizes Tanjiro breaks it by suicide as he’s aware of Enmu’s spell even though he is falling in his spell. Enmu puts Tanjiro again in another spell, but Tanjiro sees his family disowning him for the events.
Tanjiro gets upset by this and, reawakening, exclaims how dare Enmu insult his family in such a manner. With rage, Tanjiro chops Enmu’s head off but finds it to be too easy. Enmu then reveals that he fused his body with the train, and everyone on the train will be devoured.
Tanjiro tries to attack Enmu, but he vanishes into the train. Realizing he can only protect two cabins at the most, he finds out that Inosuke has woken up. Inosuke, understanding the situation, protects the passengers from Enmu’s attacks.
