In episode three, titled “Should have been,” the Flame Hashira with Tanjiro and his friends are caught in a demon art technique and dreamt of their desires.
In their dreams, Rengoku found himself telling his father how he is a Hashira, Zenitsu got to be with Nezuko, and Inosuke found himself being the leader and in control.
Tanjiro realizing Nezuko was out in sunlight had an odd feeling living with his family. In the end, Tanjiro finds out he is caught in a dream and needs to find a way to break it.

Episode 4 Speculations and Discussion
As the slayers are asleep, we see what happens in their dreams and what they desire. Even though an infiltrator tried to take out Rengoku’s core, his survival instincts kicked in.
Enmu’s plan seems to have some delay in taking out the slayers. How far will Enmu be willing to go to destroy the slayers? Will the slayers take hold of reality in time before the demon art technique?
Tanjiro has made a risky decision to wake up, and it seems it might work and break the spell. Tanjiro will also understand the situation and try and wake the slayers to stop the demon.
It was truly emotional to see Tanjiro make a tough decision and let go of his family in the dream. Let’s wait and see how the slayers handle this situation as the episodes get released.

Episode 4 of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, titled “Insult”, has been released on Sunday, Nov 07, 2021.
I. Is Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba on Break This Week?
Episode four of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime season two part one is unfortunately on a break this week. It will continue in the following week as usual after the break.
The delay is because the television networks will instead be broadcasting the Japanese elections, as confirmed by the series ’ official Twitter page.
Due to the broadcast of the special election number “Live Election Sunday”, the broadcast of “TV Anime” Devil’s Blade “Infinite Train Edition” on October 31 (Sun) on the national Fuji TV series will be suspended.

Episode 3 Recap
This episode continues with the slayers in the Mugen train under a deep sleep. The insomniac kids are ready to infiltrate their dreams and destroy their spiritual core. As the slayers slumber, their dreams are shown.
Zenitsu dreams of a lovely relation with Tanjiro’s sister and is happy things are going well. On the other hand, Inosuke dreams of being in charge of his underlings, trying to take out a train monster.
Rengoku dreams of the day he became a Hashira and told his father about it. Rengoku’s father is ignorant about what he said and isn’t concerned. Rengoku meeting his brother, says he doesn’t have to worry and will support him in life.
Meanwhile, one of the infiltrators is in Rengoku’s dream. She follows the directions given by Enmu about finding the spiritual core. Reaching the barrier, the insomniac kid finds Rengoku’s subconscious.
Inside Rengoku’s subconscious, she finds the core and is about to destroy it when Rengoku reacts in his sleep and chokes her. The insomniac kid is shocked at Rengoku’s survival instincts.
Living in his dream, Tanjiro finds that Nezuko is out in daylight and feels concerned about it. Later at the river, Tanjiro’s reflection warns him that it is all a dream, and Tanjiro realizes it.
On the train, Nezuko gets off her box, sees everyone’s asleep and tries to awake Tanjiro. Nezuko headbutts Tanjiro and gets hurt due to it. She uses burning blood after get hurt.
Back in his dream, Tanjiro trying to wake up bursts into flames and realizes it’s Nezuko’s burning blood. Tanjiro then runs into the woods, trying to find the demon who put such a spell. In the process, he meets Nezuko and realizes that this is how his life should’ve been.
Accepting reality, he leaves his family and comes across his father, who guides him on escaping. Tanjiro then understands he has to kill the dream version of himself to wake up. Making a risky decision, Tanjiro slashes his neck.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge. Its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump began in February 2016 and ended in May 2020 with 23 collected tankōbon volumes.
