Episode 3 Speculations and Discussion
With the slayers fallen into sleep, we will see what happens in their dreams and what desires and regrets are fulfilled.
Fallen in the hands of Enmu’s plan to destroy their spiritual core, how will the demon slayers know they’re caught in a dream? Will they know this is a Blood Demon Art done by a demon?
As Enmu uses the kids to infiltrate the slayers’ dreams, it will be a tough fight as the slayers might be more intelligent than they think. The next episode will show us the outcome of the slayers’ slumber.
Those who have already seen the Mugen train movie arc will know how the next few episodes will play out. That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy these few episodes, as new scenes are added to this arc.

Episode 3 of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 2 Part 1 anime, titled “Should have been”, has been released on Sunday, Oct 24, 2021.

Episode 2 Recap
This episode starts with Tanjiro and his friends meeting the Flame Hashira while they investigate the Mugen train. After introducing themselves to Rengoku, he understands Tanjiro is also here about the Mugen train events with his friends.
Tanjiro asks Rengoku about the dance of the Fire God and if he knows anything about the breathing technique. Sadly, the Flame Hashira claims that he knows nothing about it but looking at Tanjiro’s passion offers to train the young Demon Slayer.
Rengoku then talks about the history of breathing techniques. Tanjiro thinks even though Rengoku is weird, he’s got a strong sense of justice. As the ticket collector checks their tickets, Rengoku suddenly feels a demonic presence.
When Rengoku prepares to confirm the presence, a huge monster suddenly shows himself out of nowhere.
With one clean swing of his sword, the Flame Hashira kills the demon. Rengoku senses another demonic presence, and he manages to save a hostage while taking out the demon.
Later the ticket collector pleads for a peaceful sleep for completing his task from Enmu, one of the lower Twelve Demon Moons. Meanwhile, Rengoku falls into a deep sleep, along with Tanjiro and his friends.
Tanjiro is seen reunited with his dead family in his dream and is happy to be with them. Later, Enmu sends some insomniac kids in his control to infiltrate the slayers’ dreams. Using the Blood Demon Art, Enmu plans to kill the Demon Slayers by crushing their spiritual core.
About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge. Its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump began in February 2016 and ended in May 2020 with 23 collected tankōbon volumes.
In a world filled with demons and demon slayers, Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the lives of two siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado after— the murder of their family at the hands of a demon. Their hardship does not end there, as Nezuko’s life is spared only for her to live as a demon.
