Although Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s manga has ended, fans are still worked up over the anime. And now, after the first season of the Demon Slayer anime was a smash hit, fan expectations have risen.
Demon Slayer: Mugen Train is the upcoming anime film for the series. It is a direct sequel to the anime. Promotions for the movie have been going on full scale for quite some time. Shueisha has yet another surprise up their sleeves for fans!
The official Twitter account of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed that a new manga titled Kimetsu no Yaiba: Rengoku Volume 0 will be distributed.
What’s more is that the manga will be distributed only to those fans who attend the theatrical release of the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie.
Fully illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge, Rengoku Volume 0 will portray the first mission of Kyojuro Rengoku. Only a total of 4.5 million copies will be distributed.
The Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie will be released on 16th October 2020. The new manga is supposed to be distributed starting from the same date.
Plans for Demon Slayer: Rengoku Gaiden is already under the works. It is a spinoff manga that focuses on the flame hashira Rengoku Kyojuro. It will focus on the struggles that Rengoku has overcome.
Kyojuro is one of the most popular characters in the manga. Thus a spinoff focused on him does not come off as a surprise.
The upcoming Rengoku Volume 0 might be a one-shot for Rengoku Gaiden.
The Demon Slayer staff are going all out with the promotions. At first, Shueisha collaborated with various magazines to distribute Demon Slayer. Now, this new special edition manga is sure to attract some crowd.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge.
Its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump began in February 2016 with 19 collected tankōbon volumes released as of present.
In a world filled with demons and demon slayers, Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the lives of two siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado, after— the murder of their family at the hands of a demon.
Their hardship does not end there, as Nezuko’s life is spared only for her to live as a demon.
As the oldest sibling, Tanjiro vows to protect and cure his sister. The story traces the bond of this brother-sister or better yet, demon slayer and demon combo against the odds of an arch antagonist and the society.
