If you thought the season was a bit excessive, then let me tell you that it broke just as many records as the film. It made us cry once more over the death of our beloved Hashira, but it was a fun ride regardless.

Though an anime’s true essence can only be felt by watching it in Japanese, some are still more comfortable watching it in English.

For such people, Funimation released all seven episodes of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train anime with English dubbing on its website.

These episodes come packed with more details about the events that conspired on the Mugen Express. Instead of focusing on Tanjiro and his crew, they also tell us how Rengoku ended up on the train.

As expected, it wasn’t a mere coincidence for the Flame Hashira to be on the demon-flooded express.

He knew there was something fishy about the train and boarded it to investigate the matter, eliminate the risk, and save the people.

We also get more insights into Rengoku’s past and his father, the former Flame Hashira. It is also shown that Rengoku protects an old woman who was saved by his father from a demon when she was young.

The Mugen Train arc and Rengoku are very critical in the entirety of Demon Slayer, and you’ll realize this as the story progresses.

It serves as significant character development for our heroes and motivation to not let down our favorite Hashira and keep up his legacy.

Even if it’s considered a heinous crime in the otaku community, we can’t deny that some anime sound great even in dubbed languages.

So, if you’re planning to go through Rengoku’s death again but in a different language, then this is your chance.
