‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ has just wrapped its ‘Swordsmith Village Arc’ with another victory for the Corps. The final episode also revealed some mind-blowing secrets that I would leave for the viewers to watch themselves.
With two Hashira and two Upper Moons, the battle became quite tense, especially when the lives of the swordsmiths were at stake. All the characters surprised us with their abilities, but Hantengu topped them all with his annoying multiple forms.
On Monday, right after the 11th and final episode of ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village Arc’ aired, the staff announced that the next ‘Hashira Training Arc’ will be adapted into an anime.
The video subtly hints at the previous arcs, with fire representing the Mugen Train, Daki’s sash representing the Entertainment District Arc, and Mitsuri’s sword representing the Swordsmith Village Arc. It then shows all eight Hashira, followed by visuals of Giyu, Shinobu, Gyomei, Sanemi, and Obanai.
Akira Matsushima, character designer, and chief animation director drew the character visuals displayed in the video.
‘Hashira Training Arc’ is nine chapters long and shows Tanjiro and others going through their hardest training ever. All the Hashira train them one by one to build their strength on par with theirs.
This arc is quite short, so it may be combined with the final arc. On the other hand, this is the perfect opportunity to adapt spinoffs and light novels because we do not know enough about the Hashira. Although the stories are not canon, they would set the stage for ‘Infinity Castle’ in the best way.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge. Its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump began in February 2016 and ended in May 2020 with 23 collected tankōbon volumes.
In a world filled with demons and demon slayers, Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the lives of two siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado after— the murder of their family at the hands of a demon. Their hardship does not end there, as Nezuko’s life is spared only for her to live as a demon.
As the oldest sibling, Tanjiro vows to protect and cure his sister. The story traces the bond of this brother-sister or better yet, demon slayer and demon combo against the odds of an arch antagonist and the society.
