1. How to beat Cineas in Genshin Impact?
Cineas can be beaten by taking down its Hydro armor, shielding its heavy-hitting attacks, and dispensing quick attacks using a Dendro character like Alhaitham. The recommended team composition to beat Cineas is Alhaitham (Main DPS), Yae Miko (Sub-DPS), Nahida (Sub-DPS), and Zhongli (Support).
Using the right characters and strategy is extremely important to take down this local legend despite it being one of the easier bosses in the game.
2. Taking Down the Hydro Armor of Cineas in Genshin Impact
Cineas uses a Hydro armor that protects it from the powerful attacks of your main DPS. To take down this armor the best way is to trigger Hydro reactions like Bloom or Vaporize.

Electro and Dendro characters that can get rid of the armor and dispense quick attacks are best suitable to defeat Cineas. Alhaitham, if used skillfully can be the best main DPS choice for efficient results in this scenario.
Yae Miko and Nahida can act as great supports to Alhaitham with their speedy attacks to drain Cineas health bar in a short time.
5. Where to find Cineas in Genshin Impact?
Cineas, the local legend, is located in a cavern under the Clivus Capitolinus area in the Sea of the Bygone Eras region of the Fontaine. The cavern has two openings, which can be used to enter it and reach Cineas.

From the location marked in map, swim your way through the cavern opening until you reach solid ground. Now, just take a quick left and you will see Cineas standing inside a boss arena.
The Sea of Bygone Eras becomes accessible only after completing the Gradus ad Capitolium quest of the Canticles of Harmony world quest chain.
