The preview for the next Episode 5 was not shown, nor its title revealed at the end of episode 4. We expect to see Kaburagi and Natsume combat against the new army of Gadoll in the snowy region.
The battle which everyone expects to bring peace is only a farce of the game management, but the troops are set to risk their lives for it, just what will be the outcome of the upcoming event? Kaburagi may rush in the combat to save Natsume will he be successful?
The human race and Natsume are yet to uncover the secret of their haven Deca-dence!
3. Recap of Episode 4
In the combat!
Episode 4, titled “Transmission,” begins with Natsume chasing after Pipe amid the Gears proceeding to battle against the Gadoll army!
Kaburagi tells her to head back to Deca dence before the fight commences, but she finds spare gear and weapon at the back of the jeep and puts it on. She searches for Pipe but runs into some Gears fighting a Gadoll, stunned by how easily they got slaughtered she runs away after they start attacking her.
She hides for a moment to catch her breath and, after calming down, rushes back to face the same Gadoll. She defeats it, and one after the other impressively takes down the others. The Gears watch her in combat, and she saves Pipe singlehandedly.
Management’s plans
A huge Gadoll suddenly rolls towards Deca dence and crushes everything in its path. The Gadoll has a tough armor that doesn’t allow the Tanker’s weapons to pierce through. However, with excellent teamwork and strategy, Kurenai takes down that Gadoll!
The fight ends, and Kurenai approaches Natsume after witnessing her fighting skills. She welcomes Natsume into The Power, and a new event commences as Deca dence heads into snow battle against Gadolls. Kurenai briefs the fighters about the latest competition in the Gadoll’d nest, and they make plans to take down the Gadoll alpha!
But the bot’s management has other plans, with the event being impossible to clear the Gears under A rank will be wiped out and the legendary heroes will return is the plot in cooking. Kaburagi hears of this and is worried about Natsume, who gets placed in team 6.
Her determination!
Natsume gets treated differently by her teammates and Fei because of her new hand. At night Kaburagi visits Natsume and pleads with her not to attend the battle this time.
She refuses to listen, and Kaburagi gets close to revealing the truth of their world is a game but doesn’t open his mouth about it and destroys her weapons instead to make her not participate. Kaburagi does not want at least her to die.
Natsume meets with Kurenai, and they talk about finding their reason to risk their lives fighting in the field. Natsume is reminded of the time she spent with her dad, who hoped to live outside the fortress with nature in peace.
Hence, she decides to gain that freedom after ending the fight! After being told countless times by everyone around her to give up on being a soldier, Natsume chooses to change it and joins Kurenai’s team for the upcoming battle!
Kaburagi monitors the event and watches Natsume moving with the troops again to his surprise; the Gear army launches in the snowy road for the battle!
