Deca-dence is about a young girl named Natsume, who tragically loses her father and her hand in a Gadoll attack.

Episode 4 of the Deca-dence anime, the title has not been revealed yet. It will be released on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. 

In the next episode, Kaburagi and Natsume fight against the army of Gadoll along with the other Gear soldiers!

No, episode 4 of the Deca-dence anime will be released as per its schedule; thus, no such delay is announced. The anime comes out weekly every Wednesday.

The preview for the next Episode 4 was not shown, nor its title revealed at the end of episode 3.

Still, we expect to see Kaburagi and Natsume combat against the new army of Gadoll, who have entered the Deca-Dence fortress. Pipe who is caught in danger, will Natsume be able to save him?

3. Recap of Episode 3

I. Natsume’s Training!

Episode 3, titled “Steering,” begins with Kaburagi watching Natsume’s past and figures out the reason behind the malfunction of her chip.

The next day Kaburagi takes her to the battlefield right away so she can learn combat skills quickly. He gives her lessons and explains about the Gadoll’s zone (instinctive defense mechanism).

They enter the region, manipulating gravity and observing the arteries carrying oxygen of that spoonwormer’s body. Kaburagi leaves her to fight with it, but when she can’t, he demonstrates.

After defeating it, they take a break. At dinner, Natsume shares her training course with her friend, but her friend advises not to do it, bumming out Natsume.

The next day too, Natsume trains harder and gets beat up by Gadoll. At the same time, returning Natsume shares her dream to become a Gear like Kurenai, the mighty lady Gear.

The next day too, Natsume trains hard in flying, swimming, speed, weapon changing, attacking the Gadoll, etc. to improve herself. And as each day passes, she grows stronger and finally defeats a Gadoll! Kaburagi has a meeting with his superior, who pressurizes him to find the bugs lurking around him.

II. Their Meeting

Kaburagi logs in and is met with Natsume, who dresses up Pipe in cute clothing. She opens up about the concerns revolving around her metallic arm, which she cannot use properly during combat.

Kaburagi takes her to a weapon shop and changes the parts for her hand, giving it a new shine and upgrade, which can make subtle movements and turn into a weapon!

While returning, they are alerted about a Gadoll army attack, Pipe gets caught up, and Natsume chases it with Kaburagi behind. Kaburagi is reminded of the first time he met Pipe and adopted him. Natsume reaches the scene of the battle, and the episode ends.

Deca-Dence is an upcoming original anime television series produced and animated by NUT. The series premiered on July 8, 2020.

It tells the story after many years that have passed since humanity was driven to the brink of extinction by the sudden emergence of the unknown life forms Gadoll. Those humans that survived now dwell in a 3000m-high mobile fortress Deca-dence built to protect themselves from the Gadoll threat.

Denizens of Deca-dence fall into two categories: Gears, warriors who fight the Gadoll daily, and Tankers, those without the skills to compete. One day, Natsume, a Tanker girl who dreams of becoming a Gear meets surly Kaburagi, an armor repairman of Deca-dence.
