Deca-dence is about a young girl named Natsume who tragically loses her father and her hand in a Gadoll attack. Aspiring to become a Tanker Natsume starts her journey in Deca-dence along with Kaburagi an armour repairman and joins his team.

1. Episode 2 Title & Release Date
Episode 2 of the Deca-dence anime, for which the title has not been revealed yet. It will be released on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.

4. Recap of Previous Episode 1
I. Her past
The episode 1, titled “Ignition” begins when Muro (Natsume’s dad) along with his team find something hidden in the ruins during their search. Young Natsume who has snuck in their car to watch her dad work calls him out and shows him the scorpion she caught.
Out of nowhere there’s a Gadoll attack and Muro and his team rush back to Deca-Dence but their car is caught up in the attack because of this accident Natsume loses her arm and her dad in the fight against Gadoll.
II. Current Natsume and her new job
After graduating Natsume has to start working in the armory repair center because her call for enlistment hadn’t arrived yet. But all her classmates received enlistment offer to become a Tanker whose role is to support the Gear warriors.
She joins the Kaburagi team but learns that in her first five years she has to clean the surface of Deca-Dence. Being a naturally positive kid, she does not lose hope of becoming a Tanker and then a Gear, she keeps working with Kaburagi and quickly becomes friends with his team.
However, a disinterested Kaburagi has a tough shell to crack and does not allow her to become his friend rather they become the unlikely duo of senior and junior.
But one day when a huge army of Gadoll attacks the fortress and causes the cleaning staff to fall off Deca-Dence. Kaburagi uses his skills to save them and Natsume, while also slaughtering several Gadoll.
The other Gear solders become impressed by his combat skills during the fight and ultimately the huge Gadoll which was heading towards Deca-Dence is taken down by their commander by launching fire at it and extracting its oxygen.

Deca-Dence is an upcoming original anime television series produced and animated by NUT. The series premiered on July 8, 2020. It tells the story after many years which have passed since humanity was driven to the brink of extinction by the sudden emergence of the unknown life forms Gadoll.
Those humans that survived now dwell in a 3000m-high mobile fortress Deca-dence built to protect themselves from the Gadoll threat. Denizens of Deca-dence fall into two categories: Gears, warriors who fight the Gadoll daily, and Tankers, those without the skills to fight.
One day, Natsume, a Tanker girl who dreams of becoming a Gear meets surly Kaburagi, an armor repairman of Deca-dence.
This chance meeting between the seemingly two opposites, the girl with a positive attitude who never gives up on her dreams and the realist who has given up on his, will eventually shake the future course of this world.
