Platinum End breathes new life into the whole “battle amongst the chosen ones” trope and presents it in an intense way.
From the mangaka that gave you Death Note, Platinum End is another one of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata’s creations made in 2015.
But, if you’re thinking Platinum End is just another Death Note, then boy are you in for a surprise! Firstly instead of the usual black Shinigami get ready to be delighted with a cute angel named Nasse.
Secondly, our protagonist Mirai Kakehashi isn’t really going on a killing spree with a diary in hand, instead, poor Mirai gets thrown into a battle among other candidates to take God’s place.
If you’re not really a manga person, then I have some good news for you. Platinum End is already in the talks of being adapted into an anime which will be released in Fall 2021.
And now, Platinum End’s official website has released the cast and character designs for Nasse and Mirai. The cast includes:

Platinum End will be directed by Hideya Takahashi and character designs are being drawn by Koji Odate.
Just look at how cute Koji Odate has made our precious angel Nasse!

The anime will focus on the story of Platinum End manga where Mirai, trying to kill himself gets rescued by an angel named Nasse.
She recruits him as her contender to participate in a battle among 12 others to take over God’s position in heaven and thus starts Mirai’s new life.
We hope Platinum End will be a binge-worthy watch for Fall 2021.
