Dead Space Remake Gameplay Footage Showcases an Hour of Gameplay 

As Dead Space Remake’s release gets closer, more footage is being revealed. The game is a remake of the 2008 game and it features various improvements over the original due to it being remade from the ground up. Fans are excited to get their hands on it and relive the horrors of USG Ishimura but in the meantime, more gameplay footage has been revealed in anticipation of the game.  

Recently, a livestream of Dead Space Remake showcased changes that fans will see in the game. But the latest gameplay comes from a YouTuber called YBRGaming who uploaded it to YouTube. The video is 57 minutes long and shows off the third chapter of the game. Watch it below: 

Viewers should also keep in mind that the game is still a work-in-progress, even though the visuals look fantastic. One of the biggest differences between the original and the remake is that the Ishimura will no longer be split into sections that require loading screens via the tram system. Instead it will be seamless. The visuals are also next-gen as the game is being built from the ground up for next-gen consoles.  

The game will also feature a single-shot camera just like God of War (2018), which means there will be no cuts or loading screens from beginning to end. Recently PC specifications for the game were also revealed which suggested that the game doesn’t need a very high-end PC to run but it will still require a GTX 1070 to run. Overall, the game is looking like it’s going to deliver and fans of the franchise are excited to see more of it.  

Dead Space Remake releases on January 27, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Dead Space follows the story of Isaac Clarke, an engineer on board an intergalactic mining ship called the USSG Ishimura. On discovering an ancient artifact known as The Marker, the ship is overrun by a species of aliens called Necromorphs. With the aliens turning the crew into one of their own, Isaac must fight through the hordes as he tries to find a way to get back to Earth.

The gameplay is reminiscent of the Resident Evil franchise, with inventory management being a key component. Players have access to a variety of mining tools that become weapons and must navigate the claustrophobic corridors of the Ishimura while fighting off the Necromorphs.
