In the latest episode of ‘Dead Mount Death Play Part 2’, we see a confrontation between the Corpse God and the Imperial majesty of the other world. Corpse God wonders why the majesty is here, but he assures him that he appeared here on his own and will soon leave, too.
There wasn’t much progress in this episode, but we get information about Inspector Hosirogi’s past and glimpses at Officer Iwanome’s gameplan for future events. After Xiaoyu gets his bionic arm broken, Polka replaces it with a dragon’s arm using his Corpse God powers.

Episode 8 will continue the group’s investigation of Habaki. But what kind of cards will the opponent play?
Additionally, what are Officer Iwanome and Solitaire planning for this whole situation, and exactly how much is the imperial majesty involved in all this? We still don’t know how significant Habaki’s subordinate will be after Solitaire captures him.

3. Recap of Episode 7
Episode 7 of Dead Mount Death Play shows us more about the imperial majesty from the other world. As Polka, or should we say the Corpse God in Polka’s body, talks with him about his arrival in this world.
Polka tells him that the majesty’s carefree and egotistical nature got him assassinated. To this, the majesty simply replies with a ‘maybe’ and vanishes in thin air.
After this, the Corpse God gets lost in thoughts about how he wishes to create a world where everyone can live peacefully. Misaki’s call puts a stop to his thoughts. She updates Polka about their current location and status.
Polka passes the phone to Lisa, who talks with Takumi about his leg injury and tells him to fix it as soon as possible. Polka asks Lisa how she knows Habaki, which sheds light on Inspector Hosirogi’s past.
Later, Polka offers to heal Xiaoyu’s broken arm, but as he doesn’t trust this ‘fake’ Polka, he refuses his help instantly. But he couldn’t refuse Polka’s invitation to a fight after a heart-to-heart talk.
Polka basically dominates Xiaoyu with little effort and makes him realize the difference in their strength. Admitting his loss, he agrees to let the Corpse God help him and asks for his real name, as calling him ‘Fake’ all the time seems wrong. Polka then replaces his broken arm with the arm of a dragon.

Dead Mount Death Play is a Japanese manga series written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Shinta Fujimoto. It began serialization in October 2017 and has an anime television series adaptation slated for April 2023.
The story follows Corpse God who uses a reincarnation spell during his fight with the hero, Calamity Crusher. Corpse God is reborn in the body of Polka Shinoyama who has some assassins on his trail.
