As Corpse God and the others are preparing to start the mission “Rescue Polka”, Civil decides to give them a surprise Visit. He tells them he doesn’t want to fight and is there just as a friend. A huge truth has been revealed from his chat with Corpse God. Kanon Shinoyama, Polka’s mother, was actually the reincarnation of the Corpse god’s mother in the other world. This makes Polka his brother and gives him another reason to save him.
As the fight between those two begins, Habaki joins them to help Civil but is distracted by Xiaoyu, and Lulu is confronted by Misaki, whose goal is to take the real Polka back. On the other side, Iwanome and his squad face the Fire-Breathing Bug and stop them from going after Lulu.

2. Episode 12 Speculation
The last episode of the season will show us the climax of the fight between Civil Sabaramond and Corpse God, who is now taking this battle seriously. Seeing his sorcery, Civil also starts to understand the fundamentals of elemental magic, and his own sorcery starts to take proper form. This battle is no longer something even the Corpse God can take lightly, as the peace he wishes for is at stake here.
While the fight with Civil continues, Misaki and Xiaoyu will try to rescue Polka. Still, even with her vampire-like powers, it’s almost impossible for Misaki to win against a high elemental. We can expect all the major forces, such as Solitaire, the Bug, and characters like Yanemi Lei and Majiri Agakura to play a part in this fight.
3. Recap of Episode 11
The episode starts with Solitaire meeting a mysterious person whose identity remains unknown. At the same time, in the police station, Iwanome finds documents related to the mysterious fire in Shinjuku left behind by Hosorogi. Takeru also sees some photos from the mess the bug caused with Civil and starts to make connections between Solitaire and the organization.
The next day, we see the Corpse God and everyone else getting ready to rescue Polka. Suddenly, Takumi mentions that the name Corpse God is somewhat hard to pronounce in Japanese. Hearing this, the Corpse God decides to tell them his real name, but before he can do that, he notices that Habaki and Lulu are on the move.
Through his agents, Takeru Shinoayama also gets a report on two of the three members leaving the hotel. As both parties wonder where Civil is, he suddenly enters the room where Corpse God and the others are. He tells them he is a friend and does not want to fight them.
Once the situation calms down, he tells the Corpse God about his powers since he still thinks it’s the real Polka. While telling him all this, he also mentions that Polka’s mother, Shinoyama Kanon, possessed the “Elemental Eye”. Corpse God is extremely shocked, and it is soon revealed to the viewers that Corpse God’s original mother reincarnated as Kanon Shinoyama.
Corpse God overcomes his shock from this realization and tells Civil to return to the real Polka. Civil realizes what’s been happening here and changes the topic by asking him to help defeat the bug. Before replying to his request, Corpse God asks him if he knows Arius Sabaramond, but Civil says he only knows him by the name.
The situation escalates quickly as Civil does not like being compared to Arius Sabarmond. He tells Corpse God to show him his powers since none of them are in the mood for simply chatting anymore. Corpse God happily agrees, saying he had more than enough time to cast his spells due to his talkative nature.
He activates his spell, and just after a moment of seeing it, Civil understands that it is Necromancy. He soon deduces his true identity as the Corpse God, too. The fight between them begins, and once they take the fight outside, Habaki notices it and joins Civil. Xiaoyu comes to help Corpse God and distracts Habaki with his newly acquired powers. Lulu tries to use the spirit’s protection on Civil but is met with Misaki.
On the other side, Iwanome and the Solitaire task force face the Fire-Breathing Bug once they come out of their base to capture Lulu. He discloses their whole truth right before them, but the bugs tell him he has no way of proving their crimes. Iwanome simply says that if he can’t prove those crimes, he can at least stop them from doing another.
In the battlefield Corpse God is surprised to see Civil’s sorcery taking proper form even though he just learned how to use it. Civil tells him it’s all thanks to him; just watching him use sorcery helped him develop his own. Civil also tells him about his true wishes. He will either return to the other world or change this one as he sees fit.
For the first time, we learn about Corpse God’s true name, which is Rizdilusia Redrazalf, the emperor slayer. Corpse God praises Civil for knowing this much. After so long, Corpse God decides to use all his powers to their full extent, saying his existence alone brings danger to the city, so if he leaves it, the city will know peace.

Dead Mount Death Play is a Japanese manga series written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Shinta Fujimoto. It began serialization in October 2017 and has an anime television series adaptation slated for April 2023.
The story follows Corpse God who uses a reincarnation spell during his fight with the hero, Calamity Crusher. Corpse God is reborn in the body of Polka Shinoyama who has some assassins on his trail.
